Product Review: Mise en Scene Hello Bubble Foam Color x Black Pink Ash Khaki Brown (7K) and Primer (Pre-Color)

     Hello dearies! If you're a long-time follower of this blog, I'm sure you've seen me sport different hair colors in the past years. Some were colored in salons while most were done at home. I'm a fan of bubble hair color since time immemorial. I've tried around four brands in the past and only one became my default DIY bubble color hair dye brand.

     Fast forward today, I stumbled upon another brand that I consider a new HG (Holy Grail) after using it last December. Fun fact: I bought that brand around August 2020 but decided to use it only last month because I was too lazy to freshen the color of my hair since I'm just always at home. I suddenly realized that my birthday will be less than a month and that made me decide to color my hair so it will look good in the photos.      I've been coloring my hair for more than seven years now. If time permits, I go to salons to get my hair color done and if I'm busy I always resort to DIY hair coloring kit. Hair color is already a part of my beauty regimen. I feel beautiful if I'm sporting the hair color that I want.

Richenna Bubble Hair Color in Golden Blonde

     As I've said on previous posts, my hair needs some loving! My hair tends to get dry and frizzy two months after using hair color treatments. I'm not blaming it to Prettia, I love the color of my hair after using this bubble hair dye. It's given that color-treated hair will get dry after the treatment that's why it should be given utmost care. You need to nourish it with the right shampoo and conditioner.      This post will just be the continuation of my DIY hair coloring adventure. But this time, I opted to buy something cheaper since I'm on a tight budget mode. I saw this bubble hair color at Watsons months ago and became very curious. I read all the information on the box and I'm surprised that it has a wide range of colors. I'm torn between Richenna and Etude House but after reading Janet's review, I focused my mind to Richenna.      Choosing the right color was very tricky for me. There's a chart at the back of the box that will show you the before and after hair color. I got confused because the after color would be darker if you have a lighter hair color to start with. Since my previous hair color was platinum beige, this golden blonde will make my hair darker.

AFTER 1 WEEK: Richenna Golden Blonde

     If you'll compare the before and after photos, Richenna gave my hair a bit of reddish/orange-y tint and it colored my roots a bit. It's different irl because the color is more on the brown/ ash-y side. I'm satisfied with the result making my hair color even and also for the cheaper price. But if I'm going to color my hair again, I will still choose Prettia. The only downside of this product is that it made my hair coarse even if I use the treatment conditioner included inside the box. My hair saver is the Kerastase mask Chroma Riche. Will make a review of this expensive hair treatment that I won from a magazine contest.

Prettia is Love

     I'm really in love with Prettia! To show my frenzy over this brand of bubble-type hair dye, I braved myself for the third time and it never failed me. I love my new hair color to bits! I started using Kao Prettia last year with Chiffon Beige (Yellow Brown series) then Milk Tea Brown (Brown series) and now Platinum Beige (Ash Brown). The lighter the merrier :) I'm planning to dye it again two months from now with Honey Beige and something that will look like an ash blonde. Wish me luck :)

     So here's what my hair looks like after five days of using PLATINUM BEIGE. This photo is taken five days after coloring my hair and now that it's more than three weeks methinks the color is much more lighter. Take note that in order to achieve this color, you must have a lighter hair tone prior to dyeing.

The Best Gift this Christmas+ Prettia Bubble Hair Dye in Milk Tea Brown

     Belated Merry Christmas! Wasn't able to make an update on my latest hair color. I just want to share with you what is the best "gift" for me this Christmas. Aside from new clothes, shoes, and new stuffs, having a wonderful family is the best thing that God has given me.

     This is what my hair looks like after using Milk Tea Brown. I don't know if I like it this way. I think this color is a bit dark than the previous color that I have. I don't know if the color looks good on me. This picture is taken under fluorescent lighting around 1am with flash photography.

     Pardon my haggard face, I just slept 4 hours due to holiday rush. I'm sleepy and tired in this picture but soooo happy and blessed with a wonderful husband and son.
