5 Reasons Why I Highly Recommend Beauty MNL

     Shopping online is one of the most accessible form of shopping these days as almost everyone is now online. Admit it or not, we are all busy. Even though we have time to drop by our favorite malls and department stores, there are times that we only shop for every day essentials. For beauty aficionado like me who live North of the metro, I find it hard to shop some mid and high end brands that I've been using or would love to try.      I've been lusting over NARS cosmetics for more than five years now. When I saw NARS Schiap swatches from beauty bloggers all over the world, I said to myself that I will buy a tube in the future. My dream came true! I wasn't able to buy the shade that I'm lemming but I found another love in NARS Audacious Lipstick in Michiyo :)

     Second that I've been dreaming of all these years is NARS Blush in Orgasm. I saw this blush shade from the makeup kit of celebrities like Lucy Torres. I fell in love with the shade years ago and I said to myself that I will save up to buy a pan in the future. Now, I already have this. Thanks to Beauty MNL :)

     The following beauty products you'll see below are the products that I dubbed as not easily accessible. I can't say it's hard to find because there are online shops who also sell these brands BUT the only problem I always encounter is it's either the shade is out of stock, the product hasn't arrived yet or simply it available in selected shops. First is Naturactor Cover Face Foundation. This shade is always OOS or hard to find, good thing Beauty MNL offers a wide selection of shades. So when I saw the shade 130, I immediately placed it in my shopping cart.

     Another product that I can't find in stores, malls and local online shops is Davines Oi Oil. This is my favorite high-end hair product. When I emptied one bottle, I had a hard time finding a new one as I need to look for selected salons carrying the brand. It took me months to restock on this but to no avail. The only answer is Beauty MNL. I bought a new bottle that will last me a long time!

     And lastly, a new lip balm from Shiseido. I'm not sure if this is available in Shiseido counters. I picked this because I'm running out of lip balm the time I'm shopping at Beauty MNL. Out of curiosity, I bought one. Well, it's something new for me and since the brand is Shiseido no need for me to ask why.

David's Salon x Honda Biker Beauty Event

    Last Friday, I was invited to experience an afternoon of pampering sesh by David's Salon and Honda Philippines Inc.  The Biker Beauty: David's Salon x Honda Pampering Day was a collaboration by two of the country's best in transportation and salon industry. David's Salon is the default slash go-to salon of my family. We made frequent trips to their SM City Fairview branch for our much needed hair cut. My sister also had her hair rebonded there once.

     So when I received a short notice invite, I got so excited and asked the hubby to allow me to attend the event. He's persistent because we have agreed upon that no more events for the rest of that week. Since I also need a new hair color because the color of my roots were so noticeable already, I insisted him that I want to try the salon's hair coloring service. I'm so happy that I never doubted David's Salon's hair color service because in our experience with their hair cut, it's always a thumbs up! Product Review: Davines Nounou Pak Nourishing Repairing Mask

     Having color-treated hair is not easy at all. Once the roots start to show, I'm getting conscious because of the uneven color. Aside from this dilemma, I also consider the texture and the state of my hair strands after a month of hair dye application. Color-treated hair are considered 'abused' hair because most of the health-stripping nutrients are found in these chemicals. The more we color our hair, the more it is susceptible to damages like breakage, split-ends, coarseness, dryness and stiffness. Other kinds of after coloring effects may include scalp irritation and hair fall. 

     I've been sporting color-treated hair for the longest time now. It's been 4 years and sometimes I feel 'naked' when the roots start to show.  My last hair color (Balayage Ombre by Azta Urban Salon) and hair treatment (Oi Oil) were from Davines. Their products are specifically crafted from nature to meet your hair's every need and based from my experience, my hair is still in good shape after the last hair color and treatment I've had.      When it comes to hair treatment, I always make sure that the product/s applied to my hair during the process will make my color-treated hair shinier, smooth and healthy looking. I can say that my hair had been through a lot of chemical treatments in the past. The abuse from hair coloring, hair styling tools and the simple combing and drying made my hair prone to dryness, dullness and breakage.
