Product Review: Vitapack 8-in-1 Whitening Lotion

Friday, November 24, 2017

Hi dearies! It's been a year since the last time I reviewed a whitening lotion. I have this thing of using a brand religiously for months or years if I experienced positive results. If you'll look into my whitening lotion review archive, you'll only see a few brands because most of the brands that I've tried are cost-effective.

If you're really serious in your whitening game, taking glutathione supplement is not enough especially if you want to see drastic results. In fact, a combination of different whitening products for the whole body is recommended for daily use to see faster and maximum results. Have you read my review of Vitapack Megawhite and Vitapack Beauty? These products from Vitapack are cost-effective and if taken religiously, you'll see promising results. To complement those supplements, the brand also has Vitapack 8-in-1 Whitening Lotion. See my full review below.

When Vitapack sent me the lotions, the first thing I noticed was the packaging. It's a small tube compared to the whitening lotion that I have tried to date. But the 8-in-1 label caught my attention more since it's a first for me using a lotion with 8 benefits in 1 tube.

I've been using this lotion religiously for more than a month now and as of this writing. I've already emptied my second tube and I can say that I'm satisfied with the results. Even my mother-in-law who just arrived from abroad noticed that I'm lighter than the last time we saw it each other. If I get a compliment from a friend or a relative, it means that the product I'm using is effective.

There's a premium feel with the tube type packaging- the color and that silver twist-off cap.

Can you see the glow in my hand?

Product Review: Vitapack 8-in-1 Whitening Lotion
Took this photo in our kitchen under natural light. You can still see stretch marks on my left thigh. You'll also see line marks on my right thigh but those are due to sitting cross-legs.

What I like:
  • The tube-type packaging is handy.
  • It's well-sealed upon purchase. You can see a sticker seal outside and a foil seal at the opening of the tube.
  • Simple squeeze type bottle dispenses the right amount of product.
  • The scent is not overpowering. It has a mild floral scent that lingers for a few minutes after application.
  • It has a semi-runny creamy consistency making it so easy to spread and apply.
  • According to Vitapack, this lotion can be used in the face too.
  • This lotion is perfect if you're the type who dislikes heavy and sticky feeling after use because it's so light, non-sticky and non-greasy even after sweating.
  • It made my skin smooth and soft to touch.
  • This lotion combats dryness.
  • There's an instant glowing and brightening effect upon application.
  • Made my skin luminous after consuming the 2 tubes.
  • It has spf, the reason why I'm not afraid to use this at daytime.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • No irritation, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the bottle.
  • Easily accessible.

What I don't like:
  • It's not budget friendly. I find this lotion steep for students and moms who are on a budget.
  • No noticeable effect in the anti-aging department.

Will I repurchase? If I have the money to spend for this lotion, I will buy another tube.

Recommendation:
I give this lotion a 4.5/5 rating. The product is really effective despite the price that is not budget-friendly but if you have the money to splurge for a tube of whitening lotion to complement your whitening regimen, I will highly recommend this brand. I'm impressed with the brightening and smoothening effect it gives my skin plus the fact that it's not sticky and greasy.

If you'll read the ingredients, the lotion is packed with natural whitening agents from sourced from different countries like Japan, Korea, and Switzerland. These countries are known to produce premium whitening products that are made from powerful ingredients to deliver maximum effects.
