     I believe that a girl can really never have too many lipsticks. There are so many formulations to choose from, so many shades to sport every occasion, and promising brands that are not only from international market but from ours as well. 

     Let me introduce to you Nicole Cosmetics- a brand where you can find the most flattering and wearable makeup specially formulated for Filipina skin. The brand currently offers cruelty-free lipsticks, made from natural ingredients. One of the owners, Ms. Arlette Alvarado sent me the complete shades of Nicole Cosmetics Lipstick. It started when Nicole dreamed to have her own cosmetic brand. Nicole is a business woman, she is the founder of Lily’s Touch Beauty Enterprise and she is also a professional makeup artist. Arlette is an entrepreneur in the skincare and cosmetic industry. Ester is a Personal Banker in Dubai. They are ALL self-confessed makeup addicts and they worked together to realize their dream in having their own makeup line.

     These lipsticks are neatly packaged in a white box with floral watercolor markings. The bullet is pretty simple and has semi-hour glass shape. The formula of the lipstick is creamy matte and has a subtle sweet scent.

What I like:

• The packaging is simple.
• There is a subtle sweet scent that is not overpowering.
• There are 7 shades to choose from that flatters Filipina skin tone.
• The texture is creamy matte.
• It's easy to apply as it glides smoothly on my lips.
• The shades are pigmented, one swipe is enough to achieve the color that I want.
• Proudly Philippine made.
• Made from natural ingredients.
• Batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed at the bottom of the bullet.

What I don't like:

• The price is a bit high for budget-conscious individuals.
• No description in the packaging.
• Not easily accessible.

Will I repurchase? Yes but not for now as I have 7 shades to use and it will go a long way.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.25/5 rating. If not for the price, I think this will pass as one of the creamy matte essentials in your makeup stash. The formulation is okay, it's pigmented, and there are 7 shades to choose from. So if you're building your lipstick arsenal, a tube or two of Nicole lipstick won't hurt.
