Hello dearies! Time for another review. It's nice to be back after how many days of just posting pr's and giveaways. My apologies for not updating lately because I'm not feeling well these past few days. Anyhoo, lets go back to the basic idea why we need to use lotion. This product review is meant for this coming season where our weather changes from wet to dry. Ber months means we're nearing Christmas and the atmosphere will be cold specially at night. When the weather gets cold, I know most of us experienced dry skin. Dry skin can be itchy and in most cases can lead to flaky skin. We need a heavy duty moisturizing lotion to keep our skin soft and smooth to touch. Thanks to Nivea for sending this over last January, dry skin is not a problem now.
Long-lasting and intensive care for dry to very dry skin.

instructions for use: spread the lotion all over the body, I use it after taking a bath in the morning.
ingredients: Aqua, Alcohol Denat., C13-16 Isoparaffin, Distarch Phosphate, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Caprylic/Capric Trigylceride, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Persea Gratissima Oil, Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Glucoside, Cetearyl Alcohol, Sodium Carbomer, Phenoxyethanol, Methylisothiazolinone, Parfum.
What I like:
- Affordable.
- Since it has runny consistency, the lotion is absorbed faster.
- It is very light and non- greasy.
- The shape of the bottle is sexy compared to other lotion bottles.
- Moisturizes my skin feels, soft and smooth after use.
- Very good in combating dry areas of the body.
- Since this contains grape seed oil, I noticed that there's a subtle glow in my skin.
- The scent is mild.
- Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the bottle.
What I don't like:
- Doesn't have spf.
Will I repurchase? Yes!
Recommendation:
I give this lotion a 4.5/5 rating. Even though I love using whitening lotions, I find this lotion very helpful in making dry skin more supple and smooth to touch. It contains grape seed oil that's considered more potent than vitamin c and because of that I can say that this lotion has anti-oxidant effect on my skin. If you have very dry skin, I highly recommend this product!
Have you tried this variant from Nivea? What's your favorite Nivea lotion? Thanks for sharing!
Good Times!~
Love how it's so affordable, but... we need spf in this country! hahaha :)

ReplyDeleteyan ang gamit ko ngaun for 2 weeks na,yes maganda sya kaso di sya whitening lotion, ahihi pero ok lang kc im using kojie san soap nmn!same tau ginagamit ko sya after taking a bath then pag aalis ako naglolotion ulit ako pero Belo na it has spf 30.
ReplyDeleteAko naman I'm not too fond of whitening lotions, with my sensitive skin and all. Will check this out next time I go to the mall. :)
ReplyDeleteI need this for my skin now. Badly! Thanks sis for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteBack then I would alternate this lotion with another brand...It is definitely fast absorbing and very light on the skin. Almost as if I didn't apply lotion. It's been a while na...maybe I should give this a shot again. Great review! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is my husband's fave lotion. heehee. I must say he is more religious in using lotion than me, haha. He is very particular with his skin regimen and this lotion is a must have for him. I borrow his stash when I'm wearing shorts or skirts. Since my gams tends to be very dry.
ReplyDeleteI love Nivea! :) I've been using a lot of their products, even sunblock, and it definitely helps with my dry and sensitive skin. :)
ReplyDeleteBtw, I hope you get well soon sis!
@Angel Diamante- yup but it lacks spf nga. Siguro it's best used at night pero di kasi ako sanay sa gabi gumamit ng lotion.
ReplyDelete@sherry ann gole cruz- yay! ganda noh?
@elsie valdez- ok naman pala combo mo kasi kahit you're using whitening soap may sunblock and moisturizing lotion ka naman. ok na yan sis, basta wag kalimutan sunblock and nivea para di mag dry skin dahil sa kojie san.
@Czjai reyes-Ocampo- ay ganun? Pero I think you don't need na ng whitening lotion kasi you have great skin to begin with :)
@thisisLOVELEE- hello :) try it now!
@k@ye- yey! thanks for sharing your experience. I'm glad you liked this too.
@Ravene Abad- hello there! wow, your husband's skin is nice siguro. I noticed that men need this kind of lotion cause they tend to have very dry skin.
@Sumi Go- thank you sis! Wow, pareho pala tayong Nivea baby :)
Nivea is my staple lotion! never fails to moisturize me :D
ReplyDeleteThis is really great, especially since it's been extremely sunny here in Leyte. But spf is needed!
ReplyDeleteI have always loved Nivea! :) Super ganda ng lotion nila.. very moisturizing indeed :D
ReplyDeleteThis product is perfect for the Philippines as the skin tends to be drier on warm months which is usual in the country.
ReplyDeleteI love Nivea, specially this one. :D
ReplyDeleteVery affordable pa.
Nivea has good quality products. :)i have the deodorant and lotion, it really gives that smooth feeling.
ReplyDelete@Sheela Marie Castillo- yey! Dami natin Nivea users :) Indeed it's a very good product!
ReplyDelete@roviedear- we can count on Nivea talaga! winner!
ReplyDelete@Le-an Lai Lacaba- oo nga sis, but there's a lot of variant naman ng lotion sa nivea that has high spf.
@Rhea Bue- very well said :)
@Franc Ramon- yup, have you tried using lotion ng Nivea for men? Hope we can have feedback from guys too :)
@Leilani Gamboa- yup, effective and affordable!
Im really into milk products but this one doesnt have SPF. So sad.
ReplyDeletewww.orenjji.blogspot.com
@Oren-jji- we all wish na sana it has spf noh?
ReplyDeleteVery effective magmoisturize i love it ! kaya lng parang nkakaitim xa sobra ? Been using this for 2 weeks and it's winter here so i cannot blame the sun or because it doesn't have spf... pero believe it or not, ang laki tlga ng initim ko. bkt kaya? Any idea?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous- as far as I know nakakaitim din yung wind and air. Since it doesn't have spf, then na expose ka sa sun may chances talaga na iitim ka. I'm just not sure if it's because of the lotion but the lack of spf can be the culprit.
ReplyDeletesafe ba sya gamitin kahit pregnant ako?? I'm looking for a moisturizing lotion kasi. I stopped using any whitening products as advised by my OB.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI just wanna ask. safe ba syang gamitin kahit pregnant ako? I'm looking for a moisturizing lotion kasi na safe. I stopped using any whitening products. So I wanted to check if this suits my condition?
@Roxanne Galang- hello :) I'm not sure though better ask your ob sis :) Or switch to organic lotions and or palmer's cocoa butter that's safe for pregnant women.
ReplyDeleteHi. Bat ganun nung nagswitch ako sa lotion na to nagkaron ako ng rashes all over my body and di ako makatulog sa sobrang kati ng katawan ko. Im pregnant din po,
ReplyDeleteHi! Since you badly needed SPF, you can try Nivea Intensive Moisture w/ SPF 25. It has Vitamin E and Grapeseed oil extract same as the body milk.
