Hi lovelies! Have you joined my first giveaway yet? I'm giving a tub of Glysolid Glycerin Cream and other skin care stuffs. I swear by Glysolid, you can read my post HERE.
If there's one thing I considered makeup during my college days, it's the eyebrow pencil. Yes, I only use eyebrow pencil, lip balm and pressed powder on my teen years. I'm a late bloomer when it comes to the real makeup as what I call it (foundation, eyeliner, lipstick, mascara and so on). I just started using those I mentioned above when I got married 2 years ago that's why when relatives and friends see my latest photo they tell me you look like you doesn't have a 3 year old child. I also realized that I'm becoming more conscious of what I look now unlike before. All I can say is I love my life now. I'm happily married to my wonderful hubby and I always wanted to look attractive to him. I also noticed that when you have positive aura even without makeup, glowing and healthy skin shows.
Anyhoo, since I mentioned the eyebrow pencil thing-y a while ago, I wanted to share what keeps my almost non-existent eyebrow in shape. I discovered eyebrow powder, gel and mascara from beauty bloggers and after reading their reviews I'm a convert now. Since that day, I started my hunt for a cheap eyebrow powder that will match my colored hair. I'm glad that I've found E.L.F. Studio Brow Kit. I'm hesitant at first. I'm afraid that I'll overdo my brows if I'll use the wax and powder combination but oh ma, I'm totally wrong. Read on to see what I'm talking about :)

E.L.F Eyebrow Kit in Light
Create brows that are fuller, thicker, and more defined! The pigmented wax defines and shapes brows and the color complementing setting powder keeps them looking arched and perfected. The doubled sided taklon brush has one side to help arch your brows while the other side aids in filling them in. This duo provides lasting color definition for a naturally beautiful look.

- The packaging is classy and neat. It is sleek and not flimsy.

- The brush that comes with it works. I use the angle brush with the wax and the other side with the brow powder.
- A little goes a long way for the brow powder.
- The color matches my skin tone.
- Easy and not messy to apply.
- Lasts long on my eyebrows, I don't need to retouch even if I sweat and my face starts to oil up.
- The wax doesn't feel sticky nor gooey.
- The packaging comes with a mirror that is useful during application.
- Easily accessible, I don't have to order it online.
- None!
Will I repurchase? Yes! I already hit the pan of both wax and powder. This is my makeup must have! I can't go outside the house without this on my eyebrows. I feel naked without them.
Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. This is my first brow powder and I love it to bits! I love that the brow gel and brow powder works for me. If I'm really lazy and I only have 5 minutes to put my makeup on, I just use the brow powder. If my brows are unruly, I just define it with the brow gel/wax and I'm good to go but If I want to define my brows and make if look good, it use both. I can never go wrong with this product!
How do you keep you brows in shape?Do you use the brow gel and powder?Spill!
Good Times!~
I actually would want to try using powder on my brows but a pencil is still more efficient for me. But this product looks good, maybe I might give it a try soon ;)
ReplyDelete@Gellie- Hi :) I also want to try nga din ulit yung eyebrow pencil. Before kasi kahit anong brand lang binibile ko dahil wala pa talaga ako kaalam-alam sa makeup. Now I noticed na may magaganda din na brand ng eyebrow pencil. Since ok ako sa brow powder and mauubos na to, siguro I'll try mag pencil ulit. Hehehe
ReplyDeleteOT: Btw, can you recommend a good eyebrow pencil? Thanks :)
I had this before but I gave it away to a friend coz this shade was just too light for me.
ReplyDeleteI like the wet n wild brow kit better. ^_^
@Hollie- Hi :) Sayang naman. Siguro that time wala pa available na colors that will suit those with medium skin tones. Not sure if available na yung ibang shades sa elf counters. Sana meron na din.
ReplyDeleteI've had one but I got the darker shade! I liked it til I tried using a certain brow pencil. I have dark brows and pencil is much easier to control. I'm currently using eyebrow pencils from Etude House and Laura Mercier. :)
ReplyDelete@Dawn- Thanks for the recos, will try Etude house soon :)
