OOTD: Black and White

Friday, April 03, 2015

It's been ages since my last OOTD (Outfit of the Day) post. Since the sky was clear, weather and the location was the perfect tandem for an outfit shoot, I decided to have another outfit post with the help of my blogger bestie Jen Maslang of shopgirljen.com

This outfit is very simple. If you follow me on my social media accounts, I presume you've already seen me wearing these pieces. This was the attire I wore at the event I've attended last week in BGC. We were advised to wear a black and white outfit. When there's an event where we are required to wear something or let's say there's an attire, I usually ask help with my fasyown blogger friends. They know that I'll be asking "what to wear, what to wear" three days before the event. I always feel that I'll be under dress if I follow my decision when it comes to formal event. Anyhoo, here's the outfit post :) Details of my outfit after the jump!
OOTD: Black and White
Just ignore the "snobbish"/not smiling look. We took these photos around 1:00-2:00 in the afternoon and I'm getting pissed because it's getting hotter and hotter, yeah it's summer- not my kind of weather. But hey, I did these poses with the help of Jen and her camera :) Thank you!!!
OOTD: Black and White
Sunnies- Jean and Rosz

Top- Romwe Black and Stripes Button Down

Bottom- F21 Skater Skirt

Shoes- Parisian Wedge

Accessories- QQ Watch
F21 Gold Plated Ring
OOTD: Black and White
I super love this skirt from F21 because it's very versatile. I can wear it with a tee, a cami and all sorts of top! This sheer button down from Romwe is one of my fave. I can pair it with shorts, jeans, and skirts.

My sunnies came from Jean and Rosz, got this from the summer essentials loot that Sample Room gave us during the event. I've been contemplating if I'll wear this kind of sunnies because I'm afraid that it will look big on me. But look, I think it fits perfectly on my oval face shape.
OOTD: Black and White
The bag that sammydress sent me last year is still with me, it's still alive and kicking! I'm saying this because most of the bags that I bring to events either the zipper is not working because it's stuck or the handle gets unconnected. This women's tote bag looks classy and perfect for formal wear.
OOTD: Black and White
Yay to this comfy wedge from SM Parisian. If you're a long time reader of this bag, prolly you already know that I have a sensitive feet. This wedge has a soft in soles. I decided to pick this color since Taupe can be easily paired with printed dresses and monochromatic outfits. That's it for now, hope you like my first OOTD post for 2015 :)

Good Times!~

  1. Big sunglasses are always in nowadays ^.^ I think you look very pretty with them on. And those shoes! I'm so jealous, after my pregnancy, all my wedges fell to the wayside because my feet grew half a size bigger. It's impossible for me to haunt any other store but Payless >.<
