Energizer Playground Launch

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

Christmas is for the kids and the kids at heart! When I ask my son what he wants to have this Christmas, the only answer I hear is TOY! It's a no brainer that most kids would love to receive toys as gift this holiday season. I was invited by Energizer last Saturday to witness the launch of the World's First Battery (Energizer)- Powered Playground. Lots of toys were on display that was powered by Energizer batteries

Energizer , from the makers of the World’s Longest Lasting AA and AAA batteries, brought holiday cheers to Filipino kids through the World’s First Energizer-Powered Playground. The activity ran from 11am to 10pm at the Trinoma Activity Center last Saturday, December 13. The event supported the Brand’s new campaign on Max Alkaline which is Power Seal Technology, Protects Your Devices from Damaging Leaks. Guaranteed.      I arrived early at the venue and it's a Yay for me :) I'm so excited to see the toys because like my son who likes tinkering toy cars, I also like watching RC cars racing on tracks. Parents and kids were given one hour to enjoy a wide array of battery operated toys with a purchase of Energizer batteries, chargers and flashlights. All the toys in the playground are powered by Energizer batteries. These dependable power cells deliver powerful and lasting performance.

“The holidays are always a special time for us at Energizer Philippines because we get to be a part of the fun and excitement of the season through our products,” says Cara Ramirez-Tecson, Energizer Philippines Marketing Manager. “This year, we get to provide even more holiday cheers to Filipino kids by setting up the world’s first Energizer- powered playground for everyone to enjoy.”

The activity was highlighted by a special donation to both the Manikako Foundation and The HOPE Foundation.

Manikako makes handcrafted dolls from donated scraps of cloth. The group started out as a fund-raising arm of the House of Comfort Art Network, or ArtHOC, a non-profit organization that advocates empowerment through art. ArtHOC has been conducting art workshops as a means of self-expression for children of unfortunate circumstances.

The HOPE Foundation, on the other hand, extends assistance to children who are not able to help themselves by providing food, clothing, medical treatment, and education.

The Energizer Playground provided the perfect opportunity for kids and their families to experience long-lasting fun as they enjoyed the carefree time play provides. Kids of all ages had a grand time as they frolicked and enjoyed the many showcased toys that ranged from planes, trains, dolls and many others.

The playground is divided into 4 sections like Tone Tone, Wiz World, Active Zone and Vroom Room. Each play area consisted of different energizer battery operated toys. My son was not bale to make it to the event and if he was there I'm sure he'll be in the Vroom Room play area the whole day. Here's what the playground area looks like:

Musically inclined kids hung out at the Tone Town where they played with different musical toys. .

Children also had a chance to flex their minds as they explored the Learning Lane or the Wiz World that showcased a wide array of educational toys.

Active kids, on the other hand, were able to indulge in the Action Zone where toys, robots and action figures abound.

Finally, the Vroom Room - a pit stop for junior speed freaks - was also available where kids enjoyed different toys cars and other vehicles. The area is highlighted by the Energizer Playground’s centerpiece – a 15-meter car race track and a high-powered helicopter exhibition.

'Twas an afternoon of fun and excitement. I was amazed by this race track. I also want to have this for toy for my son and of course Energizer Batteries will make playtime longer. Thank you so much Energizer Philippines for inviting and for letting me get the first dibs on the first Energizer Playground. I had so much fun during the event :)

  1. Some toys needs energizer all the time to fully utilized its usage. Batteries are fully helpful in this purpose.

  2. It's nice that energizer has a playground for kids to enjoy. Maybe they can take it up one step further with a theme park.

  5. We certainly need long-lasting batteries so that our kids get to enjoy their toys more, not to mention it's easier on the parents' pockets.
