I know, I know! The tongue twister title makes you wanna try this lipstick. Pink Sugar collaborated with one of the country's top beauty bloggers- Liz Lanuzo of Project Vanity to give you flattering shades and complete your lipstick arsenal.

Lipstick in crayon-like form arrived in Philippine shore a few years ago and brands like Revlon and Clinique started the trend. From then on, foreign and local brands are producing their own formulas and shades too. So according to Liz, it was a huge milestone for her when the founders of Pink Sugar asked her to collab and produce this kind of lipstick. If you're a self-confessed lipstick junkie, a crayon or two of Pink Sugar x Project Vanity These Lips Don't Lie Lip Crayon is a must. Why? Read more below!

Feature: NEW Pink Sugar Sugar Tint (Lip & Cheek Tint) Shades

Wednesday, May 17, 2017

Hello, dearies! Sharing with you quick feature of Pink Sugar Sugar Tint (Lip & Cheek) New shades to add to your collection. These babies were sent to me by Pink Sugar Cosmetics months ago but I wasn't able to try it immediately because I still have other lipsticks to swatch. Like with the previous shades that I have tried, these lip & cheek tints are highly pigmented and go opaque once applied on lips.

The new shades are pink and peach.  I'm sure you'll get hooked especially if you go cray over Kylie Lip Kit pink and peach shades. If you dream of having a Kylie lipstick, maybe you should try this first because aside from the price, these are highly-pigmented and you'll receive more bang for your buck! Swatches and photos of the NEW Pink Sugar Sugar Tint (Lip & Cheek Tint) Shades below :)

Product Review: Pink Sugar Nude Lipsticks

Friday, September 09, 2016

Since nude lippies are so in today, (because of Kylie Jenner) let me share with you another set of nude lipsticks and for this post they're from Pink Sugar Cosmetics. I'm pretty sure that if you're a makeup enthusiast and a self-confessed lipstick junkie you've already seen Pink Sugar Cosmetics kiosk. Prolly you have a product or two from Pink Sugar in your makeup kit.

Pink Sugar Cosmetics is a homegrown brand. They had a grand launch last year and everyone who attended the event were impressed with their products- the packaging, pigmentation, and price are awesome! They launched Pink Sugar HD and Creamy Matte lipsticks last year with 14 and 10 shades respectively. Now, they're adding more shades and got three of them which are all under creamy mattes namely XOXO, Hot Mess, and Girl Next Door. Sugar on the other hand is included in the first batch of HD lipsticks. If you're looking for cheap dupe of the Kylie lip kit, read more below :)

Product Review: Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Brow Gel

Tuesday, August 30, 2016

I'm so thankful to whoever invented genius and innovative beauty products that make every girl's life easier. These beauty products are really functional and easy to use. I presume that you've heard of eyebrow gels and mascaras. These eyebrow products sprouted like mushrooms in the beauty shelves and almost all the brands, from cheap to mid-range and high-end ones have a tube or two in different colors for us to try!

If you're into eyebrow products and wants to achieve those eyebrows on fleek look, it's now time for you to try eyebrow gels. It's an eyebrow product that looks similar to mascara but intended for the eyebrows. Pink Sugar launched early this year their eyebrow gel line- Honey I'm Good Brow Gel. Full review details, photos, and swatches below :)

Product Review: Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Brow Gel

Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Brow Gel

This multi-purpose brow gel fills in and conditions brows at the same time. The Honey I'm Good Brow Gel has a natural finish and is formulated with Coconut Oil and Aloe Vera. Available in 3 shades:
  • Blonde (Toasted Blonde)
  • Taupe (Universal Taupe)
  • Brunette (Soft Brunette)

Product Review: Pink Sugar Honey I'm Good Brow Gel

You can see in the three swatches above that blonde is the lightest shade and the shade that only a few can pull off. I tried that shade on my bare face and I look so different. It's like I've bleached my eyebrows and made it lighter making me look like Mona Lisa.

My bare eyebrow- right side

Blonde is a shade that only a few can pull off. In my case, I can say it makes my eyebrow look non-existent.

Taupe matches my hair color

Brunette is a bit dark but I think I can also pull off this color if I'll use a very light stroke during application.

What I like:
  • The price is affordable.
  • The packaging is sleek but has a generous amount of product in every tube.
  • The brush is okay, the space in the wand helps in spreading the product
  • Doesn't have funky or weird scent.
  • The texture and consistency is light, like a water-based cream.
  • It's highly pigmented and dries matte.
  • There are three shades to choose from.
  • The formula doesn't clump.
  • It's long-wearing.
  • This brow gel can be used alone or in conjunction with eyebrow powders and liners to give your brows a more dramatic and on fleek look.
  • Since I have thin hair brows, I only need one coat to cover the hair strands.
  • No irritations, breakouts, or whatsoever on my forehead or in my eye area.
  • Batch, manufacturing, expiration date is printed on the packaging.
  • Easily accessible.

What I don't like:

  • Can be a bit tricky to apply if you have stray eyebrow hairs.
Will I repurchase? Definitely Yes! If you change your hair color from time to time, you need to buy all the shades to compliment your current hair color.

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.5/5 rating. This is a good eyebrow product for beginners and pro. If you have clean brows, you can use this alone for that natural look. If you want to define your brows, you can use this as a topper for a more polished eyebrow on fleek look.

If you're planning to buy one shade, it's still best to visit Pink Sugar counters and swatch all the shades to see if it compliments your hair color and skin tone.

Have you tried eyebrow gels and mascaras? What's your fave brand?

Good Times!~
