     Strong, independent, determined- three characteristics that parents want to hone their children these days. In the age of modern technology, I noticed that kids these days can't last a day without using their gadgets.

     I'm guilty of this because my son uses his iPad every day and when I try to lessen his gadget time, he will say that he's already bored. We cannot blame technology for this and as parents, all we can do is to set limits and teach important things in life that will bring out the best in them in the future.      Disney on Ice presents Magical Ice Festival showcases a medley of splendid set elements, impressive light display and costume pieces, along with show-stopping performances by a cast of world-class skaters!

     “Everyone will be in awe as they watch Ariel slowly pulled upwards and then rapidly twirl above the ice. This is the first time that we’ve captured her transformation like this in a production. That’s what makes Magical Ice Festival different, we selected scenes we’ve never done before and then took our time on the details to make them truly special,” says director Patty Vincent.

     Sure to amaze and delight kids and young at heart, Disney On Ice will take you to an unforgettable magical journey as you get whisked away into the wintry world of Disney movie’s Frozen!

     “In our more than 30 years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like Frozen,” says producer Nicole Feld.

      “By pulling together moments from classic Disney stories to the newest feature film sensation Frozen and combining them with elements of comedy and music, we developed a truly unique way to re-tell each fairytale,” says producer Juliette Feld.

     Hi dearies! Forty two days left before Christmas and I'm sure we are all excited, right? We already felt the Christmas vibes last Friday as SM City North EDSA launched their holiday theme this year. SM City North EDSA brings the Season of Magic together with Disney, one of the world's leading entertainment giants in a festive Christmas experience.

     That afternoon was truly magical. I've grown up watching Disney movies and cartoon shows that's why seeing this theme brings back happy childhood memories. To make the launch more festive and memorable for the kids and kids at heart, SM City North EDSA prepared a short programme for everyone. See highlights of the event and what's in store for you at SM City North EDSA this holiday season!

     When you visit THE BLOCK, you will see the Disney Christmas Village at the Atrium. Enter a magical town with these well-loved characters that Disney is known for. SM City North EDSA recreated the home of classic Disney legends- Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Pluto! See overflowing and playful Christmas decors such as gift boxes, colorful Christmas Garlands and this amazing 24-ft high Christmas Tree :)

     During the event, a short program was witnessed by media and special guests. It's also SM North's 30th Birthday celebration. We were serenaded with Christmas carols by Philharmonic Orchestra. SM Little Stars winners also performed that day. These adorable kids sung some the Disney theme songs that we used to sing along.

     The talented Mandaluyong Children's Choir was also there to sing Christmas carols. I've seen these kids perform before and I can say that their voices are perfect and gave me goosebumps that day. Morisette Amon was also there and her powerful voice brought the house down! Christmas is in the air, indeed!

     To make the launch extra special, two of the most-loved Disney characters arrived fresh from Disney Studios- Mickey and Donald Duck were so game to take pictures with all the kids and guests.

     Hi dearies! I'm so excited to share with you what happened last night at Disney Live! Mickey's Music Festival. I was invited by Araneta Group of Companies to see Mickey Mouse and the gang perform live on stage. They gave me 2 VIP tickets :) Aside from moi, my son Kenzo was so excited to watch the show. He's a fan of Mickey Mouse and other Disney cartoon characters like Donald Duck, Goofy, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody. 

     The touring show, will run from September 1 to 6, so there's still four days left if you want to see a jam pack session of  song and dance number performed by 25 Disney stars headed by Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, along with best-loved characters from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story.      I was teary-eyed when the show started. Honestly, hearing Disney songs and seeing Mickey Mouse perform live on stage gave me goose bumps. Nothing beats the classics! Deep inside my heart I'm happy to see Kenzo sing, dance, and enjoy every minute of the show. There's a time that Kenzo just stared at Mickey Mouse because he was amazed. He listens to what Mickey says on stage. I can feel that he is enjoying and this kind of bonding is priceless!
