     In 2018, the Ministry of Science and Technology started the 6G research which has propelled China to the forefront of tech advancement. Due to the benefits of this mobile tech, the Ministry of Industry and Information Tech who established the IMT-2030 (6G) Promotion Group has started to coordinate with the research in recent years.

     They aim to encourage research and development firms and operators to join the process to fix the worldwide standards for 6G. This movement emphasised global transmission network coverage across land, sea, and air over 5G.

From 1G's nine systems to today's 5G's unified global network, mobile communication and technology have established a robust and growing tech structure.

     In the upcoming 6G era, researchers will work to improve systems and make breakthroughs. This is in areas like cross-domain integration, novel network tech, and intelligent meta-surfaces for wireless transmission in much broader landscapes.
