We are living in a world of instant, thanks to innovation and technology because it makes everything a breeze. If you follow me on my social media accounts, I'm sure that you've seen posts and updates on my Canon Inspic S Camera. This instant camera is really nice and I can't stop raving about it to my readers and constantly recommending it to my family and friends (hello, Christmas).
So yeah, it's been months since we've tried and tested this instant camera. I can't think of negative things about Inspic S. The prints are nice and most importantly, have fun while looking at photographed memories that you can print and stick in an instant. CAMERA PARTS:
Front:
It has an 8MP camera lens with a selfie mirror. There is a fill light or ring light with 8 LEDs for capturing beautiful selfies. Nex to the Canon logo is the viewfinder and flash.
Top:
On top of the camera, you will see the shutter and power button together with the slide switch for on/auto/or fill light mode. In the middle, you will see the status LED that changes color depending on the status of the camera.

Back:
At the back part of the camera, you’ll see the reprint and aspect ratio button. You can choose from a 2x3 or 2x2 (square print). If you choose 2x3, the photo will be printed on the whole area of the photo paper but if you choose 2x2, the remaining 1 inch will have no print. This size is nice if you want to write something on the blank space. It also has a speaker that you can use for voice-activated commands. You'll also see the printer cover here and to open, just slide on the direction of the arrow.
Side:
You'll see the print output slot where the printed photo comes out after printing.
Bottom:
The micro SD slot, charging status LED, and reset button can be found at the bottom of the camera. For the memory card, you can use up to 256 GB.

HOW TO USE THE CAMERA:
Canon Inspic S has a built-in battery so charge it first using the USB cable before using it. Charging takes up to 2 hours. Red light means charging while it turns green when full.
Press and hold to turn on the power button. Wait for the sound and the LED indicator will turn from blue to white. White light means stand by and ready to take a photo. Half-press for focus then full press to take a shot. The camera automatically prints the photo. When the LED indicator changes color from white to cyan, magenta, and yellow, it means printing is in progress. It will take about 50 seconds to 1 minute for the photo to come out of the print slot.

You can also use it as a printer for photos on your smartphone. You can do this easily using the Canon Mini Print app. All you have to do is download the app at Google Play or App Store. It's easy peasy to print photos using Canon Mini Print App. Simply pair your smartphone using the Bluetooth connection and once successfully paired, go to the app then select the photo that you want to print. Tap the print icon to print instantly or you can also choose to edit and personalize your photos at the app first before printing. You can make a collage of your photos, put a border and layout, customize by adding text, stickers, or drawing. After this, tap the print icon on the upper right corner of your photo and you will see that it will be printed out in an instant in the Canon Inspic S camera.

What I like:
- The price is affordable, decently priced at P9,900.
- The camera has a pretty face. It's slim and lightweight- a perfect travel companion.
- I like the color selection. You can never go wrong with Pearl White, Rose Gold, and Matte Black.
- It’s a camera and printer in one, just shoot and print in an instant.
- Can be charged up with any portable power bank!
- It has a customizable camera flash (Auto/Off/Fill Light), built-in front-ring light (Fill Light), and a 2” selfie mirror.
- As a camera, I love that I can instantly print photos after shooting. I can also reprint just in case I'm planning to give a copy to my family friends who are in the photos.
- It's what planner addicts, journal geeks, and scrapbook fans need.
- Since this is also a printer, I can personalize the photos in my phone's photo album using the Canon Mini Print app. It's easy to add filters, doodles, and sketches to the app.
- Yay to ZINK sticky-backed paper means no messy ink cartridges. Peel off and paste these smudge-proof prints anywhere.
What I don't like:
- Takes a little time to print.
Will I repurchase? YES! This is a perfect gift for family and friends who love traveling, who has a penchant for collecting printed photos, who are a planner, journal, or scrapbook junkie. This is also an essential tool if you're an arts and crafts enthusiast.
Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. Like what I've said in my short review on my YouTube channel, this instant camera is like a modern polaroid with a twist. You can easily shoot and print in an instant. The photo paper is a sticker and that makes Canon Inspic S a perfect companion non only for travelers who love taking photos but for everyone who is into arts and crafts, journaling, scrapbooking, and the likes.
I'm amazed by the no-brainer features plus I like the quality of prints even if it doesn't have an ink. This instant camera is an investment for photographers who want to level up their photography game. It's also a perfect gift for teens who are into photography. I have a niece who loves taking photos and I can say it's nice for her to have this handy so she can practice photography in a fun way at an early age. Lastly, this is something to consider for all things gift ideas (birthday, graduation, Christmas, and other special occasions).
