David's Salon Foliage Hair Care

     Achieving naturally beautiful hair is not an overnight thing. It’s a balance- from professionally trained stylists who will take care of your hair at the salon and how you will maintain it at home. Products need not be expensive. It’s about hair care that will not break the bank but does not sacrifice quality. Presenting Foliage- the brainchild of David Charlton of David’s Salon.

     The team of David Charlton realized that there was still a need for salon-quality products that were created with advanced formulations and natural ingredients yet are competitively priced. From these seeds grew the idea of Foliage- natural professional haircare that caters to basic hair issues. It smoothens frizz, protects from constant coloring, rebonding, and perming plus repair damaged hair and hair loss. They created uncomplicated yet effective products and treatments- keratin treatment line, shampoo and conditioner, repair and reconditioning formula, and a booster-serum. Sharing more information on Foliage and the products that I tried at home which I highly recommend for great hair needs.

Foliage Alpha.keratin Treatment

     This treatment is already available in David's Salon branches nationwide. During Foliage keratin treatment, your hair is repaired with hair proteins that strengthen and smoothens each strand. With proper home care products (which I already tried and tested at home for almost a month), Foliage Alpha.keratin Treatment effect can last up to 2-3 months.

     I haven't try tried the treatment yet but the home care products that I tested made my hair softer and smoother to touch. My color-treated hair looks shiny and healthy too. What more if I had this treatment before using the home care products, right?!

No. 3 Foliage Alpha.keratin Daily Shampoo 

     Formulated to gently cleanse hair treated with No.2 Treatment-Shampoo to help prolong hair smoothness.

Foliage Hair Booster     

     An intensive ceramide treatment that repairs hair. Ceramides are naturally found in skin cells and act as a conditioning agent which not only locks all the good nutrients in, it also strengthens the hair shaft itself. This serum reconstructs damaged hair at the roots, making it an ideal treatment for hair loss as well.

What I like:

• I love the sturdy pump bottle. It's made of semi-transparent plastic that enables me to see how many products left inside.
• The packaging has a working pump that dispenses the right amount of product.
• THE SMELL IS SO DIVINE! A tutti frutti bubble gum scent :)
• It's organic, sulfate and paraben-free.
• A little amount goes a long way.
• The texture of the shampoo is semi-runny, while the conditioner is thick.
• Easy to rinse.
• The shampoo makes hair squeaky clean after every wash.
• I like that the conditioner doesn't make my hair greasy.
• My hair is smooth, shiny, and looks healthy. 
• No irritation or breakouts on my forehead and back when I'm using these products.
• Manufacturing, batch, and expiration are printed at the bottom of the bottle packaging.

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible. It's exclusively available at David's Salon.
• A bit pricey for those who have a tight budget.

Will I repurchase? Quite possibly.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4/5 rating. If you are going to try their Alpha.keratin treatment, I highly recommend getting the set. It will maintain your hair beautifully even at home. As for those like me who haven't tried the treatment, I still recommend this set if you want to maintain your rebonded, permed, or color-treated hair. The shampoo and conditioner work wonders in my chemically abused hair. I'm also surprised that it lessened my hair fall and breakage even if I always tie my hair in ponytail or bun. The 250 ml bottle lasted for a month with daily use on my waist-length hair. All in all, I have a good experience using these products.
