One of the important investments in life is education that's why parents are working hard to enroll their children in the best schools in the metro. From Kindergarten to Grade School, Senior High, and College, parents are scrutinizing different academic institution first before entrusting their child's education to them. If your child is into computing, business and design, it's a no-brainer that you will look for the best school in those fields. Is your child into fashion and design but you are not sure where to enroll him/her?
I recently discovered a school where the students in the fashion and design department showed how to be different by being a game changer. I was truly amazed by what they have accomplished during their senior high school and college years when they showcased outputs from their Project-Based Learning and college theses at the Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival x iACADEMY last week. Sharing the highlights of the event and why study at iACADEMY below.

iACADEMY x Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival 2019
iACADEMY, in collaboration with Panasonic Manila Fashion Festival (PMFF), one of the leading and biggest fashion festivals in the Philippines, hosted the first-ever “Fashion Forward,” a student-led fashion show featuring the collections of AB Fashion Design and Technology’s Graduating Class of 2019, last April 3, 2019, at EDSA Shangri-La.

iACADEMY’s “Fashion Forward” makes waves and reinstates its authority in Fashion Design and Technology by showcasing indigenous textiles, unique patterns, and future-ready collections that college and senior high school students conceptualized and produced. Graduating college students unravel 30 distinct looks from their artistic collection while the graduating Senior High School students also showed 20 unique looks during the fashion show.

Ms. Vanessa Tanco, iACADEMY President and CEO said that ever since iACADEMY offered Fashion, their students have unleashed their creative expertise and passion for fashion. This year, their Game Changers came up with an awesome new collection that they are really looking forward to seeing that day. I truly agree with Ms. Vanessa's observation because the students are really talented. While interviewing one of the students, I felt his dedication and burning desire to show the fashion world the talent that God has given him.

Mr. Eli Gonzales, Chairperson of iACADEMY Fashion Design and Technology Program explained that this year was the biggest fashion show that iACADEMY has come up with. He's very happy and proud of their students for pushing their limits to produce collections that went above and beyond their expectations. The collections are a notch above what their student-designers thought of. You be the judge on this. Let the photos do the talking on what transcribed during the fashion show. These are the designs that I really like because they are stylish yet I can wear them for casual or formal attire.
