Dance Camp for Promil Four iShine Talent Camp 7

     I'm a frustrated dancer. If my memory serves me right, I've dreamed of becoming a gymnast too. I envy girls who are very flexible doing backbends and an almost perfect cartwheel. If my parents are not busy in our bakery business back then, I think I'm a professional dancer now or an Olympian. Hahaha! Kidding aside, if  I can only turn back the time to pursue this dream of mine I will. I know it's impossible now so instead of having regrets, why not support and encourage my son to develop his budding talent in dancing too. 

     Yes and guess what?! My son, Kenzo is joining the dance camp at the Promil 4 i-Shine Talent Camp 7 this April 22-26. Now is the right time to get excited but before that, I would like to share a little story about the little boy and why I'm confident that Promil 4iShine Talent Camp 7 will bring out the best in him.

     When Kenzo was three years old, we saw him dance like there's no tomorrow. He dances to the tune of Bruno Mars' song. He has this kind of dance steps like those of the c-walk or crip walk. He also keeps on shaking his head to the beat. I knew that he loves dancing and when the right time comes, I will enroll him in dance class so he'll learn the basics of dancing.

Promil 4 i-shine Talent Camp

     Promil Four’s i-Shine Talent Camp is a talent development program in partnership with experts to nurture the gifts of children ages 6 to 11 years old. This 2019, i-Shiners will have a fun and interactive learning experience, and more importantly, learn life-long values. Now on its 7th year, the camp is offering different talent programs headed by well-known artists in the country.

     Kenzo is joining the dance camp and it is headed by the one and only choreographer to the stars Ms. Georcelle Dapat-Sy. I firmly believe that nurturing the child's gift of dancing and grooving to the beat should start from the best teachers as the child will learn the value of teamwork by coordinating and collaborating with other kids and their dance instructors. The dance teachers must have the skills and experience in order for them to teach the basic steps to the kids properly.

     Two weeks from now and we are entering a new stage where my son will join other kids and dance to the beat of the latest music. Have you seen the latest dance moves like the floss, orange justice, and dab? I've seen Kenzo dancing those steps. I find some weird but he can do it exactly and nicely that's why I can't wait to see him other dance moves that will bring out his real groove.
