Product Review: Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eye Liner

Sunday, January 25, 2015

So after finishing my Etude House eyeliner pencil last November, I decided to buy another pencil from le sister company which is Tony Moly. I had a not so good experience with Etude House eyeliner in terms of the staying power but I still manage to finish the whole pencil albeit the transfer on my upper lids upon application. I just use a cotton buds to wipe the smudge and I'm good to go. A bit tedious on the apply-wipe part but there's no biggie because the price is el cheapo.

Anyhoo, the search for a good eyeliner pencil is over! Finally, found the right kind of eyeliner pencil for my monolids. It's not the ordinary retractable eyeliner pencil because it's a gel-like eyeliner pencil that's very easy to use and stays all day long. This eyeliner pencil from Tony Moly stole my heart! True to its name- Easy Touch Auto Eye Liner that is easy peasy to use. I'm excited to share with you my honest to goodness review of Tony Moly Easy Touch Auto Eye Liner so without further ado click CONTINUE READING to see photos and swatches :)

Been using this eyeliner since November, I guess it will take me a couple of months to finish the entire pencil.

Tested the eyeliner on running water, there's a minimal not so obvious wear-off after smudging the line using my finger.

Pardon the not so even line, it is because I have a semi-wrinkled eyelid/monolid.

Easy to draw thin line on my uneven/monolid.

The color is rich, blacker than black right?

  • Easily accessible.
What I don't like:
  • None
Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:
I give this a 5/5 rating. I think I've said a lot of good great things about this product already. I swear, it's really really good. Less than 400 bucks for a very good eyeliner that stays all day, no smudging and wearing off even on a hot day. There's this one incident where I fell asleep and when I woke up, my eye liner was still intact. But don't do that okay? Always remove your makeup no matter how sleepy or dead tired you are!

  6. Bought this on a whim last week and luckily, there was one color black left so I immediately purchased it. I applied the tester first before I will open mine. But unfortunately, it stings my eyes. At first, I applied it near my lashline and it stings so I applied it just on top of my lids, but still, it made my eyes teary...
