Can I call myself a kitchen mom even if I don't know how to cook? I'm not sure if frying and cooking 'tinola' and 'nilaga' will meet the requirements of a certified mom in the kitchen but I'm sure that there are cooking partners that will let you cook like a pro.

Last Saturday, March 30 at the Greenbelt 3 Open Park, a culinary secret that you can now use at home was unveiled in collaboration with four of Manila’s most sought-after chefs- Knorr SavorRich Liquid Meaty Seasoning. Knorr set-up the Knorr Test Kitchen and featured food from celebrated chefs Nicco Santos of Your Local, Josh Boutwood of Savage and Helm, Happy Ongpauco of Happy Concept Group, and Kalel Chan of Raintree Restaurants.

During the event, the chefs prepared dishes that came from a wide range of cuisines. From Filipino favorites to Asian fusion and Western grills. My favorites are Coffee Pork Ribs and Pork Sisig Gyoza.

Chef Nicco Santos is known for his take on Singaporean and Malaysian comfort food served up dishes like Nasi goreng ikan bilis, and coffee pork ribs. Love love the coffee pork ribs. It's so savory and I can really taste the coffee. It's a perfect combination that will make you ask for another cup of rice in one seating.

Chef Happy Ongpauco prepared Filipino cuisine with a twist and provided guests with meals like honey garlic fried chicken, and bangus and tofu salpicao.

Chef Josh Boutwood, famed for his fine dining restaurants fixed Western-inspired meals like pork skewers with cilantro mint salad, and roasted chicken and barley porridge.

Chef Kalel Chan presented his own take on Asian fusion with pork sisig gyoza, and togerashi karaage with rice mayo. I'm a fan of Japanese cuisine that's why this fusion of sisig and gyoza caught my attention. It's love at first bite! It's a good combination and I can really taste the real meaty goodness in every bite.
