Hello, Happy Sunday to all! I'm back with another review. I miss sharing product reviews and I know I owe you a lot. So for today, I'll be sharing a review of another eyeliner that was sent to me by Essence Philippines months ago. It's actually my prize from their Facebook fan page contest. I was very lucky that day because I'm the last sharer of the contest photo then I was tagged by my sister that I won two products from them Essence Stays No Matter What 24h Waterproof Eyeliner Pen and Essence All About Curl Mascara that I'll be reviewing on my next post.
If you're a long time reader of this blog, I've shared my love-hate relationship with eyeliner pens. The first eyeliner pen that I've tried was ELF and that eyeliner pen gave me a very horrible experience. If you want to read my review click HERE. Another eyeliner pen was from a local brand and I'm happy that it gave me positive results. So now here's another eyeliner pen that I think was one of the best that I've tried so far. What I like:
- Simple packaging.
- Affordable.
- The pen tip is not dry and the shape is great for beginners to practice thin and thick lines.
- Glides easily and smoothly.
- It didn't tug my eye area while using it on my upper lash line.
- The color pay off is great- I can say it's really pigmented.
- Dries quickly after lining my eyes.
- Easy to remove using my facial wipes.
- No raccoon eyes.
What I don't like:
- Not that water-proof enough because after three hours I can see that it smudges on my upper eyelids.
- It's not matte which I prefer by the way.
- No batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.
Will I repurchase? Yes. It's a nice eyeliner pen for everyday use.
Recommendation:
I give this a 4.5/5 rating. I use this eyeliner pen alternately with an eyeliner pencil. If you want to achieve bold lines then I highly recommend this product. If you have oily lids, prepped it with an eye primer prior to application.

ReplyDeleteTry San San's eyeliner pen. It lasts all day (like more than 12 hours) even without priming. Of course, you shouldn't rub your eyes or anything.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds like an awesome liner, and the price can't be beat! Hmmm, my favourites would have to be Kate Super Sharp Liner and Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner. They are the only ones that do not budge from my oily lids...
ReplyDeleteSayang, I would love to try this out but I have super oily lids.. >.< Even liquid eyeliners don't stay put on my upper lids! My lil sis might like this though. Lucky her di masyado maarte ang eyelids nya! XD
