In Her Shoes Premieres Tonight on 2nd Avenue

     It's not easy to be a modern day Filipina. Aside from taking care of the family, most women take on other jobs and active roles outside the home. Juggling these responsibilities can be challenging but also fulfilling, right mommies? Having that said, I'm excited to announce that there's a new tv show that will tackle the the passions of women that is not limited to home. 

     Today is the day. 2nd Avenue's newest offering In Her Shoes will premiere tonight at 6:00 p.m. This the all-­‐new 30-­‐minute lifestyle magazine show steps into the different lives of 2nd Avenue women as it takes a sneak peek into the distinct interests and clique of varied archetypes of women—from bloggers, artsy types, the foodies, and the fitness buffs.      Korean skin care and makeup still have a hug impact on Filipinas. They've invaded our pop culture by storm and I'm pretty sure that a portion of teenagers today go gaga over their glowing skin and pretty makeup line. I'm also a fan of Korean skin care and makeup as I find them majority of them cost effective. They're the ones who introduced the bb and cc creams. Of course I've tried a lot from other brands and a new player is going to make us fall in love with their oh so pretty products.

Robinsons Selections McKinley Hill Now Open

     My favorite go-to supermarket opened another branch of Robinsons Selections store in McKinley Hill, Taguig City last November 27, 2015 in response to the growing shopping sophistication among consumers. I wasn't not able to attend the launch but based on the photos that I saw, this second Robinsons Selections boasts three unique sections that I'm sure will make your grocery shopping more exciting and convenient. 

     Robinsons Supermarket President & COO Robina Gokongwei-Pe, General Manager Jody Gadia, and Megaworld First Vice President and Commercial Division Head Kevin Tan led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official launch of the new premium grocery store.

OLX Possibili-tree Launch

     Christmas is the time of sharing and giving. We all feel 'blessed' during the holiday season because we have received the following: the most awaited 13th, 14th, and 15th month pay, salary bonus, sales commission, new gadget, new car, new house, one or all the material things that's on our wishlist. Don't get me wrong but this is the reality. We all have worked hard for it and we deserve to be rewarded this season. But aside from the material things that we receive, there's another way of making holiday season 'blessed' and meaningful. This is by sharing our blessing to the less fortunate families here in our country.

     I was invited by OLX last December 15 at Gateway Mall to join the launch of their advocacy this holiday season entitled Pay it forward this Holiday season with the OLX Possibili-tree. This Christmas, OLX has partnered with Save the Children in raising funds that will go to programs dedicated to creating better lives for children and their families here in the Philippines. This shared goal has led to the creation of the OLX Possibili-tree. Details of this fund raising and highlights of the event below.

     OLX Possibili-tree fund raising campaign was created to to reward ourselves while extending support to others at the same time and the full amount that they will generate from selling these second-hand items will be turned over to Save the Children to assist them with their disaster response programs that are especially focused on education and health.

• Clothes, books, home appliances, bags, office supplies, and gadgets are just some of the quality second-hand items that will be up for sale.

• Regular cash donations are also accepted at the OLX booth stationed beside the Possibili-tree, which is open from 10AM to 10PM daily from December 15, 2015 until January 15, 2016.
