OOTD: Flowers

Thursday, September 27, 2012

Looking for a dress to wear in an important event or gathering gives me stress. I always look inside my closet two days before the said date and do the mix match thing-y but I can't decide which is which. I'm not good in matching colors and sometimes I lack the courage to wear the dress or the outfit that suits my personality. I always ask advice from my mom, my sibs and ze hubby.

When I received a VIP invitation for the Lolita grand launch, the first thing that came into my mind was the outfit. The e-vite's theme was very sweet and girly. I asked blogger friends if I need to wear something formal. When they said no, just wear something where you'll stand out means I can wear anything, a dress or a cute top and skirt will do. So I decided to wear something colorful and girly. I already made an outfit post wearing this dress here and just added a floral cover up that somehow made this outfit Japanese inspired. Tulip dress and Floral kimono cover-up combined and tada~ flowers!

Skin Care Hauls+ My First Zalora Purchase

Thursday, August 30, 2012

How's everyone? I miss you guys! :D Finally I'm back to regular programming after being MIA. I'm already getting used to my father's situation and I'm very thankful to those who prayed for me and my dad. Thank you Lord for giving us patience and strength to cope with the obstacles that we're facing now.

This is another overdue post but I know it's worth sharing since I'm adding a new skin care product to my regimen. If you follow me on twitter, I mentioned in my tweets weeks ago that I'm suffering from acne breakouts. Maybe it's because of stress or some hormonal changes in my body. I didn't changed my skin care routine for more than months now so I really don't know the culprit behind those red and nasty zits. I'm tired of just letting it go- my pimple per se. I usually ignore a pimple or two before but they left my face with dark spots/marks. So I decided to look for a budget friendly pimple spot treatment to lessen irritation and post acne marks. After reading reviews and comparing one product from another, I decided to gave these zit zappers a try plus I restocked on Maybelline Make Up Remover (Eye and Lip) and Purederm Make Up Cleansing Tissues.
Celeteque Acne Solutions Acne Spot Corrector Gel
Maybelline Make Up Remover Eye and Lip
Quick FX Pimple Eraser
Purederm Makeup Cleansing Tissues
Maybe you're already familiar with Celeteque's Acne Solution line and I guess most of you have tried this pimple treatment. I will say my thoughts about this zit zapper soon. If you're wondering what Quick FX Pimple Eraser is, then wait for my review :D This pimple eraser promises to lighten pimple marks and prevent new pimples from popping up. Been using this for a week now and haven't seen any drastic changes on the intensity of the pigmentation. I will update you guys once I've seen some lightening on my dark spots.

Anyhoo, Yay to my first Zalora purchase!!! My eyes are glued on this loafers months ago but quite hesitant to buy this online because I'm afraid that it won't give me a nice fit. I'm not sure if I'm a size 8 or 9 which always happens when I'm buying a new pair of shoes on the store itself.

Happy Girl

Friday, July 20, 2012

Hello there! My apologies for MIA. It's been a very busy and fulfilling week for me :D I have so many things to tell you guys. I don't know where to start. Hehehe! I realized that it's been a week since my last post and backlogs are piling up again. So to start with, I will share to you what I bought last weekend during my recent trip to SM North and Trinoma. Do you still remember my post about Just Sharing? I'm happy that I tolerated myself from buying more than three items during the sale. I decided not to look or hold the items that caught my attention. I want to thank my fellow bloggers for giving recommendations on choosing the right bag. I will tell everything on my next posts.

Nothing happened during the sale (Saturday and Sunday). I went home with the usual things that I have. It was Monday when the hubby decided to shop for Kenzo's new clothes. He also told me that I need to buy something even if it's sale or not. I'm still confused because I saw stylish bags that I want to take home with me but I lacked the courage to buy it thinking that it will just sit on my closet. It's already closing time and we passed by the dept. store and hubby saw travelling bags on display. The colors were catchy. The moment hubby stopped and handed me this bag, he said let's buy this. Without hesitations I ended up buying the bag.
Grab Travelling Bag
I'm a happy girl :D It's very spacious and the color goes on with any outfit that I wear. I also miss bringing big bags with me. So now on my next purchase, it's my new shoes! My original plan is to buy a comfy flats. I wanted to buy the Sole Mate flats which is on a buy 2 pairs for only 399. There's a lot of designs and colors to choose from but again I can't choose! Last Tuesday after my photoshoot, I went to SM Fairview just to buy a coloring book for Kenzo. I saw this wedge at So Fab. I tried it on- look at the mirror- and there bought this new pair. I don't know if it's an impulse buy but it looks like I'm happy with it. This is my third wedge and my first pair was from Shoe Box and Me
So! Fab Wedges
So! Fab Wedges
I'm a happy girl! I bought a new bag and a new pair of shoes with no regrets (which I usually feel after buying things that I like) I guess this attitude that I have now is the realization for the true value of money now that I have a toddler who will go to school months from now. I need to be practical and save not only for myself but for my family.

Til my next post! So what's your latest sale finds? Share! Have a great weekend loves!

Good Times!~

OOTD: Mom's Day Simple Celebration

Tuesday, May 15, 2012

Belated Happy Mother's Day to all! I'm so busy lately hence another backlog on things to review. Please bear with me dearies, I'll promise to keep you updated after this week because I'm really busy. Family matter + some relaxing and bonding time with the hubby is scheduled this week so I'll just leave you with this post of what I wore last Mother's day.

We just made the celebration simple by going to my parents house and have dinner with them. After that we dropped by at my cousins house to welcome her because she just arrived from Doha, Qatar and will be having a short vacation here. What I wear here is the version of my love for neon accessories ever since I started collecting them. I heard that Neon is "in" so I looked inside my closet and found old accessories like this bracelet and a simple top that matches today's trend.
