I'm still on a high note! I can't believe that it has been a week since we celebrated the gift- my son's talent in dancing. We are so proud of Kenzo. He showed us that he can dance in front of a big audience, no stage fright or act of being shy. He is enjoying every step that was taught to him by one of the best choreographers in the country today, teacher Ishii of GForce.
How did it all happen? Well, it all started on the first day of Promil Four i-Shine Talent Camp 7. A summer talent development program in partnership with experts to help kids 6-11 years old become their very best. It is a talent camp that will help discover and develop your child's talent and passion because the kids will be enhancing their skills in performing and visual arts through mental, physical and social stimulation workshops. Sharing below the highlights of Promil Four i-Shine Dance Camp (Day 1-6), and the very successful grand recital after the jump.

Promil Four i-Shine Talent Camp 7- Dance Camp, GForce Quezon City
Kenzo joined the Senior Class of Teacher Ishii at GForce Dance Studio in Quezon City. We're so thrilled and excited on the first day. Still clueless about what Kenzo will do that day that's why we decided to go an hour before the class schedule in order for us to get to know the people and the place well. I was overwhelmed by the number of students who enrolled in the dance camp. The receiving area was jampacked and everyone looked very excited to learn new dance steps and meet new friends.

We had a preview of what they will perform on their recital on the first day. Kenzo learned new steps in just an hour. The dance camp lasted for six days. On the second, third, fourth, fifth and last day, parents and or guardians were not allowed to see what's happening inside the dance area. It will be a big surprise for all of us on the whereabouts of their dance performance.

The fourth day was their photo and video shoot. On the fifth and last day, overall mentor, Teacher Georcell of GForce visited the students to check what they have learned and gave more instruction to her co-teachers and students.

After the 6-day camp, they had a week break then another 2-day rehearsal at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura where they had their grand recital. It's a total of 8 days for each camp including the rehearsals.

Excited and nervous, I felt butterflies in my stomach before the program started. The program was hosted by Dimples Romana and Bianca Valerio. All the students showcased awesome talents in their respective camps:
Art Camp showed their creations in the big canvass that was prepared by their mentors Teacher Kara and Teacher Robert.

Ballet Camp students danced gracefully in some of the notable Disney songs together with Ballet Manila headed by their mentor Lisa Macuja-Elizalde.

And lastly, the well-attended Dance Camp wowed the crowd with their awesome dance moves. Headed by their mentor Teacher Georcell of GForce, the kids gave their 100% in showing the steps they learned during the camp. The kids learned the value of teamwork by coordinating and collaborating with other kids during their dance performance.

I agree with what Audie Gemora said during the program that this is the best time to nurture your child's gift. Every child has a potential, it is there and waiting to be discovered. Learning should not be confined in the four corners of our homes. In order for that potential to be fully developed, parents need to support them and one way is to enroll their child in talents camps when they see signs or interests in a particular field.

I highly recommend Promil Four i-Shine Talent Camp because, in the 8-day camp, Kenzo learned not only dance steps but other values that resulted from camaraderie and teamwork. He became more time conscious because, during the camp, he doesn't want to be late. After the recital, I asked him to teach me their dance steps and the lousy me got reprimanded. He told me to dance properly and do it the right way. I guess, he just wanted to tell me to always do my best and give my 100% in dancing because it's he learned in the dance camp.
Thank you, Promil Four for helping parents nurture the gift. See you all on Promil Four i-Shine Talent Camp 8.
Good Times!~
