Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash

Specially formulated to give you clear, problem free skin, a soap-free, daily use face wash gel that cleanses your skin by removing excess oil and impurities without over-drying. Neem, well-known for its purifying and antibacterial properties, kills problem-causing bacteria. Combined with Turmeric, it helps control acne and pimples leaving your skin soft, clear, refreshed and problem-free.

Key Ingredients:
  • Neem Oil and Neem leaves are excellent skin care ingredients. The oil relieves dry skin and soothes itchiness, redness and irritation. It also improves general skin health and immunity, combating bacterial infections such as acne, boils and ulcers. Its antimicrobial properties help heal wounds without causing any infections or septic conditions. For acne, Neem tackles bacteria from the root and prevents the recurrence of pimples and blemishes.
  • Turmeric has been used as an antiseptic for centuries, and it is regarded as one of nature's most powerful healers. The herb helps to even out your skin tone and color, making it an excellent ingredient in a face wash. It also helps to retain the skin's elasticity and makes it supple. Turmeric also contains strong anti-inflammatory properties, which soothe your skin.

What I like:
  • The price- very affordable.
  • It has a semi-thick gel texture. It's soap-free but produces a good lather.
  • My skin feels velvety smooth and soft to touch after washing.
  • No breakouts, irritations, allergies or whatsoever.
  • Made my skin hydrated and moisturized after every wash.
  • There's a glow on my face after washing.
  • It's available in convenient sizes, a full-sized in tube in 100 ml, 50 ml, and travel size of 15 ml
  • Easily accessible.
  • There are a batch and manufacturing date printed on it.

What I don't like:
  • The scent- a bit off for my sensitive nose.
  • No foil seal on the opening of the tube.

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:
I give this facial wash a 4.25/5 rating. I've used the product on the days that I don't get pimples since I get pimples a week before and after my menstrual period, I wasn't able to gauge the effectiveness of this product in combating nasty zits. The good thing that I notice is that my skin didn't have a negative reaction on the first week of using it. I have sensitive skin and sudden change in skin care product/s easily cause breakouts in my skin. I just can't take the scent because I have a very sensitive nose. Something herbal-ish makes it hard for me to use the product especially on my face.

Have you tried using Himalaya Herbals skin care products? What's your favorite?

Good Times!~

    1. Hi,

I don't sell this. If you're in the Philippines, you may buy this at groceries and supermarkets.

  3. Used this once, my acne just worsened. I needed to go to a dermatologist to have myself fixed. My acne has been controlled after that but it left me ugly stubborn scars on my cheeks and forehead. Some skin just can't handle being experimented on with products. So.. On my personal experience, I really recommend just going to the nearest experts specially if you have sensitive skin. I've tried various products including himalaya herbal products. Not just this one. So sad that I had to have scars 😭 Dont let this happen to you people. Know your skin and give it the best treatment!

    1. Hi,

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I'm sorry that happened to you. It's still best to consult dermatologist before trying skin care products especially if you have sensitive skin. I always tell my readers that what works for me may not work for you or vice versa.
