Product Review: Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain

     Hello dearies! The long wait is finally over, here are the swatches and my thoughts on Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain lipstick/lipstain. I received a couple of emails regarding the swatches of this lipstain that was sent to me by Revlon Philippines. When these landed on our doorsteps, I immediately tested the lightest color which is LA Exclusive. It's a bubblegum pink shade that compliments my skin tone. 

     To give you a brief information about the product, these lip stains are ultra-light and creamy, gives a nice glossy finish and leaves a pretty stain on the lips. What I like:

• The packaging is nice and classy.
• There's 12 gorgeous shades to choose from.
• It's a 2-in-1 product: a lipstick and a lip gloss.
• It is really pigmented.
• Lip balm is not necessary as it doesn't dry my lips.
• The doe foot applicator makes applying easy.
• Can be used as a lip stain or full matte look without using lip liner.
• Doesn't dry my lips.
• Last 4 hours on my lips.
• Easy to remove.
• Does not fade after eating or sipping my drink.
• Does not fade unevenly as it leaves a beautiful stain on my lips.
• There's a batch and manufacturing date printed on it.

What I don't like: 

• The price is a bit steep for a budget conscious individual like me.
• The scent can be a bit off for those with sensitive nose, I find the scent "alcoholish" but does not linger on my lips.

Will I repurchase? Yes! Perfect gift for my girlfriends who like applying lip gloss and lipstick.

Recommendation:
     I give this product a 4.25/5 rating. It's pigmented yet moisturizing on my lips. The first three colors compliment my skin tone but I'm afraid that the parisian passion made me look too old and more snobbish. I guess I'm not comfortable wearing plum/berry shade of lipstick that's why I find the shade off on me.

     If you want to try a 2-in-1 lip color that will give your lips the true color and nice glossy finish without suffering from dry and chapped lips after wear, I highly recommend this product to you!
