The milk tea craze here in our country is still on a high note. If you see long queues at the mall or in public places, prolly it's not the usual lane for public transportation but lanes for the oh-so-yummy and refreshing milk tea! Milktea shops sprouted like mushrooms over the years and they are literally everywhere.
But did you know that there are only a handful of milk tea shops here in the country that sells the yummiest brown sugar milk tea? Yes and one of them is Tiger Sugar. They opened their first branch near Fully Booked in BGC a few days ago and I was one of the first few who got to taste their brown sugar boba milk. The verdict? Read more after the jump :)

Saraaaap! One of the best brown sugar milk tea that I've tried to date. For someone who has a penchant for milk tea or to one who drinks milk tea three to four time a week (ahem), Tiger Sugar Brown Sugar Boba is not excessively sweet. It has the right amount of sweetness but it's rich. I usually go for 0-30% sugar in my milk tea but if you order a cup from Tiger Sugar, expect that there is no sugar level to choose from.

They offer fewer flavors or variants of milk tea on their menu. If you're new to the brown sugar series, start ordering the default brown sugar pearl milk. As for the tapioca pearls or boba, they are bigger than the usual and on the soft side. In order for you to enjoy the true flavor of Tiger Sugar, you have to shake your cup fifteen (15) times so that the "stripes" or their signature brown sugar will be mixed completely with the milk tea.

If you're a milk tea addict like me, Tiger Sugar is worth the crazy long line! I'm so glad that this famous Taiwan milk tea brand opened branches here in the Philippines so no need to travel to Hong Kong and Singapore to have a sip of their premium milk teas. I highly recommend it too because, for only P80-P120, you get a cup of the true taste of brown sugar milk tea.
