     Your wedding will be one of the most exciting times of your life. You’ve dreamed about this day your entire life. You’ve heard that weddings are also one of the most stressful times of your life too. You will need to plan every detail from flowers, to food, to seating, and many other details. This is a full time job. You may be wondering how you are going to get it all done. These tips will help you have the wedding of your dreams, while elevating the typical stress that goes into planning a wedding.

Wedding Planner

     Experienced Wedding Planners are a must! Your planner will be able to guide you through the entire process. They will already have a list of professional services that you will need for your wedding, such as, caters, florist, and cake bakers. The vendors that they provide will most likely be experienced with weddings, so you know that you are getting a professional. 

     Your planner will already have a checklist of details that need to be taken care of, like choosing a cake, ordering invitations, ordering tuxedos, buying a basket for the flower girl, and decorating the reception venue. There are tons of details, and your planner will help you take care of them.

Caterer

     If your budget doesn't allow for help planning your wedding, there are still professionals that can take care of the biggest details. 

     A caterer can be a life saver. They will help you choose a menu of food that pairs well together. They will be sure that there is enough food for your guests. These professionals will know how to calculate the food needed for your guest list. Not only will they make the right amount of food, they will deliver it and serve it to your guests during your reception 

Decorator

     You may be thinking that decorating your wedding and reception venue is the easy part, but it really isn’t. If you tackle it yourself, visit the venue and take measurements of the area. If there are windows you may need to cover them to match your decor. You will need to plan where the tables and chairs will go and what to cover them. Don’t forget the ceiling. Draping the ceiling from the center towards the wall can really change the entire feel of the room. If you hire a professional decorator, they will be able to give you ideas and help you find all of the coordinating decorations. 

Florist

     Flowers can be very expensive. This is a good time to talk to a florists about your wedding. If you plan on taking care of your flowers, start now. First, walk through the venue and decide where you will put each of the bouquets. Be sure to note the size you will need. Next, decide if you want real or artificial flowers. Once you've have decided, do your research. See how long it takes for delivery and the quality of the flowers you will receive. You will also need to plan how long it will take for you to arrange them. At this point, you may realize that the cost plus your time is more or equal to hiring a florist. 

Full Service Venue

     There are many venues that automatically include their full services. There are also venues where you can upgrade to full service, which usually adds discounts for using their services. Many of them will include the set up and clean up of tables and chairs. Many of them will decorate the venue as well. Most of them will have food service as well. A full service venue is like having a very limited version of a wedding planner. This may be a good option if your budget is an issue. 

Wedding Jewelry

     Don't forget the wedding band. You many be focusing on the perfect necklace and earrings that will go with your dress, but you also need to choose your wedding band. It's a good idea to go back to the jeweler where your engagement ring came from, so that you aren't spending lots of time going from jeweler to jeweler. Your band and engagement ring should match. It may be easier to find the matching band from the place that your ring was bought. Also, if you buy multiple pieces, like your necklace and earrings, your may be able to get a sweet discount. 

     Planning your wedding should be fun, but it can also be stressful. Sometimes it is best to call in the pros to help you with all of the details. If you can't have a wedding planner to take care of the details, call in professionals to help with some of the aspects, like flowers and food. Remember to enjoy your special day.
