Etude House Princess Academy Event Year 2

Thursday, August 08, 2013

I was very fortunate to be invited to one of the sweetest and grandest event that showcases Korean makeup, girly stuff, Korean culture and anything Korean!  I'm sure that the first brand of Korean makeup that pops into your mind is non other than ETUDE HOUSE. This Korean makeup brand is very famous not only to teenagers but to adults as well and my aunt who is 60 years old uses their eye shadows and primer! Isn't that cool and sweet? And because Etude House caters to individuals of all ages, even pretty little girls they invaded Philippines by storm! I mean, they already have more than 35 shops and boutique nationwide so to say their thank you to all the patrons, Etude House Princess Academy was created.

I didn't attended the first leg of Etude House Princess Academy last year. If my memory serves me right it's a family day so all events and other blog-related stuff should be left at home. So this year, I'm very happy that I was there to witness how to become a princess for day.

I went there on the last day of the event July 28 Sunday to be exact and was held at SM North The Block Atrium. I arrived there around 2 pm and greeted by the the glowing princess Ms. Lhen Hasal, PR for Etude House. She handed me my so called Etude House map of activities and a little tiara. This was the ticket and the pass to the event. By the way, the event is not only open to bloggers and media personalities, it's for everyone just buy the ticket and you'll get more than what you've paid for. How sweet is that?!

Like what happened last year, Korean makeup lovers and Kpop fans gathered here to witness the great event that Etude House has to offer. You can see in the photo above the long queues especially on games that they've prepared for use like: Mirror Mirror, Kiss the Prince, Treasure Room, Sweetie Spin's and a lot more. The winners of these games got to score Etude House goodies like nail art stickers, skin care products and makeups!

While some girls were busy showing their skills and strategies on the Etude House games, others were very eager to listen as the program started. It was hosted by Carla Humphries. The speakers for that day includes the stylist Ryuji Shiomitsu who talked about fashion and the gorgeous makeup artist to the stars Ms. Bianca Valerio who taught us the basics of makeup application particularly on how to use BB cream and CC cream.

Betsy the official car of Etude House, luscious lashes you got there girl!
While everyone was busy with the activities, I roamed around the place and took photo of Betsy, the official car of Etude House. Look at those lashes, I'm sure this ride is a head turner! Hahaha! After Betsy, I claimed my mini snack for the event that includes macaron, heart shaped cookies and pink cola courtesy of TOUS les JOURS. I also waited for the pink cotton candy courtesy of Sweet Cloud.

I really had a great time during the event. It was nice to see blogger friends and makeup enthusiasts that day. I enjoyed bonding with all of you even though I had to leave early and didn't witnessed how Shebby Liquete won the contest. Thank you so much pretty bloggers! See you all on the next event!
