Expect the Unexpected

Tuesday, May 1, 2012

I'm very blessed to have a very supportive husband. He's there for me in so many ways! I can let him do the laundry, wash my son's feeding bottles and do some simple errands. But there were times he's complaining about the things that I told him to buy for me. These are kikay things that men usually are not interested with or very shy to be associated with (napkins, panty liners, etc).

He always tell me that I'm the unlucky one because almost 70% of the things that I want- from food, shoes, clothes, skin care and makeup have been discontinued in the market or pulled out from that branch. So when I asked him to buy this or that for me he will insists that "don't frown at me if I wasn't able to buy you those stuffs, I looked everywhere and that's it better luck next time."

But one day, I was surprised because I didn't expected him to buy these things for me. I never told him that I'm running out of my feminine wash and my son needs a new bottle of bug spray.

Boys will be boys- that's what I observed from my father and my brothers while growing up and I never  rarely saw them buy stuffs for my mother. But I know the hubby has this soft spot and him being considerate are enough to say that I'm still lucky cause some things in life comes unexpectedly :)
Have a great day ahead! Good Times!~

  1. Aww.. you're hubby is so sweet.. :) Even with simple things, those which are unexpected are more touching. I haven't tried asking the bf to buy me things for my kikay use, but I know he's not going to do it without a fight. Kahit sa Watson's lang kami nag-iikot ikot, nababagot na siya eh.. XD

  2. awww, sweet!!! they say that men rarely talks, as action speak louder than words =) take care always and stay happy always ^_^~
