Last December 10, 2019, Northern Moms Philippines had an afternoon of learning while having fun at Tinker House SM City Fairview branch with our dear readers and their little kids. We had an afternoon full of arts and crafts activities from Tinker House and the experience is one for the books.
It's my first time to step inside a playhouse full of art materials, building tools, and science equipment. Their tagline "where curiosity grows" empowers kids to design, build and discover and Tinker House is on a mission to help nurture the next generation of creatives, innovators, scientists, inventors, and artists- one tinker project at a time! The kids were already doing the first activity when I arrived at the venue and the curious cat in me decided to join the fun!

Why Tinker House?

We had an afternoon of arts and crafts during our Christmas 2019 event. The first activity was from COOL SCIENCE activity and that is creating your own slime. The kids enjoyed this activity a lot. They were so excited to create their Christmas themed slime- Candy Cane colored ones to be exact, yay!

After creating the slime, it's time for another Christmas-themed activity from FUN CRAFTS named paper mache craft. The staff handed us different paper mache shapes that we have to color using watercolor and design by sprinkling glitters. I participated in this activity and made my own Christmas Bell. I'm not a creative person and this activity taught me to be one. I can't believe that I made an accessory that hangs in our Christmas Tree. Hahaha!

The last activity is for the watercolor painting lovers called Canvas Art. If your child is into drawing and coloring, this is a must-try! We were given watercolors, canvas with frame and drawing cards for this activity. I've chosen a Christmas-themed photo and tried my best to paint it on the canvas. I hope that I was able to give justice to the Christmas Ball though. Hahaha!

We all had a blast that afternoon and will definitely bring my nieces and nephews at Tinker House soon! Our Northern Moms Philippines Christmas 2019 was a success because of the brands that supported uses. ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Std. 3, I really excited for crafts and drawing - These things makes me curious.
Chemistry experiments are like fun but you learn about substances and their reactions.
Science and technology has potential to inspire people, in my opinion science means curiosity.
Tinker house sounds amazing place for kids and I like to visit these kind of places.
