Have you read my Legoland Malaysia Water Park post? If not, click here what happened on our day 1 in Legoland Malaysia :) To those who are planning to visit Legoland, complete your experience by booking an overnight stay at the Legoland Hotel. Yes, a trip to Legoland will not be complete without this experience that's why I decided to give it a go instead of booking a hotel near the area.
Our main itinerary last June 11-14 was to celebrate my son's 10th birthday at Legoland Malaysia. We arrived at Singapore on June 11 and stayed one night there before going to Malaysia the next day, June 12. I booked our Legoland Hotel room online and chose the cheapest rate (it's one week to go before the chosen date that's why most of the rooms were higher than usual). Room rate a week before our arrival is around P15,000/night and only a few themed rooms left. I asked my son which themed room where he likes to stay and he chose the Adventure Themed Room over the Pirate one.

Legoland Adventure Themed Room
Dare to embark on a journey through Egypt with desert spiders and scarab beetles in the Adventure themed room. Send your young explorers off on a hunt to find the treasure chest and reveal the hidden gold. Beware of the tarantulas, scorpions, lizards and other jungle animals that may get in the way of your search. Remember - the ultimate adventure begins the moment you book the Adventure room.

We arrived around 10:30 in the morning and check-in time is 12:00 noon but they allowed us to check-in early so we can leave our things especially the luggage in our room. During check-in, the receptionist asked for the booking number and printed the booking form. All the details are already there so all I need to do is verify it and sign. After signing, I was given the key card, check-out form, park map, and simple instructions about the room, the buffet, and our admission to the water park and theme park. I also paid RM125 for the security deposit.

After the simple and very fast check-in process, we went straight to our room. The room that was assigned to us was on 6th floor. There are four elevators at the lobby that can be used interchangeably. I think our adventure started from the moment we rode the elevator. There are disco lights and the song "Everything Is Awesome" plays on the background.
Upon entering the room, we were welcomed by the super cold air conditioning. The restroom is located near the entrance. You can see that there is a separate wash bin for the kids and adults. The complimentary toiletries are so cute. Lego characters are printed on each. I bought the shampoo, conditioner, and lotion back home as a keepsake. Yay!

Parallel the bathroom is the cabinet with different shelves. There's an electric kettle on the top of the shelves and complimentary drinks for the guests. Other drawers have laundry bags, hangers and a box of Lego toys for the kids to play with.
Next to the drawers is the wardrobe cabinet where you can hang your clothes. There are three bathrobes and room slippers for the guests.

We call it the treasure box. Look at the Lego monkey, so cute! Below is the box that is waiting to be unlocked. There's a surprise inside for the kid/s but you have to answer something to decode it.

Here is Kenzo answering the activity sheet so he can open the treasure box. Each correct answer gives a corresponding number code to open it. There are clues hidden at the bunk bed so to those who are going to book this room, the answers are hiding there. Look how serious the birthday boy was! He's so excited to see what surprise awaits.
And after a little help from his daddy, looks what he got- Lego Ninjago pack and Lego and Friends starter pack. The birthday boy immediately opened both and played the Lego toys first before we go to Legoland Water Park.

Here's the kid's sleeping area. A bunk-bed that can accommodate 3 children. The mattress is so soft! The pillows have Lego cases too. Kenzo is not used to sleeping alone so it's my mom who slept here. Hahaha!

The kid's area has its own flat-screen television. There are different Lego creations as a display too like the parrot, spider, and turtle that you can see on the wall.

Just adjacent the kid's room is the master's bedroom or the family room. It has a king-size bed that is so soft and comfy to sleep in. There's an alarm clock in one side and mini shelves for personal belongings.

This room comes with a free breakfast buffet. But for those who have rumbling tummies, you can order at the Brick's Family Restaurant for meals and snacks on their menu. Prices here are in Malaysian Ringgit but you can also pay in Singaporean Dollars.

Here's a close up of the mini-fridge area. I suggest you buy bottled waters at Medini Mall (beside the hotel) for your convenience. Facial tissue and toilet paper is not a problem because there are extra rolls inside the bathroom shelf located under the adult washbin.

Here's the view from the 6th floor :) You can see the Legoland Water Park on the left side and the Legoland Theme Park on the right side. The other side of the theme park is hardly seen here, it stretches up to that tower on the far right side of this photo.

We absolutely love Legoland Hotel Malaysia! I'm happy that I booked our hotel here. No regrets even though some say there are other hotels near Legoland Malaysia that is cheaper, it's the experience that is priceless! To those who are planning to book an overnight stay at Legoland Hotel Malaysia, be sure to check rates and availability one month ahead of your arrival. It's cheaper and convenient especially if you are booking for high-demand themed rooms. Room rate starts at P8,300++/night and subject to change depending on availability and season.
