Product Review: LUX Fine Fragrance Magical Spell Soap and Body Wash

    Do you consider bath time as your 'me time' and it excites you to try your favorite soap? Some women consider bath time not only as pamper time at home but also a time of relaxation and luxury. Yes, luxury because this is the time where we apply the skin care products that we consider effective and precious. I'm a fan of whitening and anti-aging soaps but when a mysterious brand of soap that looks so promising is whispering in my ears to try it, I usually give in.

     If you're a long time follower of this blog, I presume you already know that I have a very sensitive nose. The fragrance of the soap either make or break into my list of highly recommended products. Too much scent always give me a nauseous feeling while using the product BUT something magical happened 2 nights ago.

     By the way, I'm sure that you will have mixed reaction why I made the review this quick. Well, this soap is not a whitening nor an anti-aging soap so no need to see effects in two or three weeks time. This is a fine fragrance soap- a luxurious soap that's intended to leave skin smooth and fragrant. After using it for two days, I can say that the soap's scent is so nice that I don't want to wash the lather on my skin.

• The scent- it's divine!
• Both produce a good lather.
• My skin felt soft and smooth to touch after using the product.
• The scent lingers on my skin for more than 6 hours.
• No allergic reaction, irritation, or whatsoever.
• It's easy to rinse.

Will I repurchase? Yes! I'm itching to try the remaining 3 variants :)

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5. If you want a soap that smells like you're wearing perfume, then you should try this. It's affordable and gives a luxurious bath. What made me highly recommend this is the scent as it lingers more than 6 hours on my skin even if I sweat. No need to spray your perfume, you'll be addicted sniffing your skin! 

     When I was in the dialysis center a while ago, my father asked me why I'm sniffing my arms over and over again. I said that I used LUX Magical Spell and it's a skin perfume. He got curious and will let him try just to make him believe that it's the LUX Fine Fragrance soap that gave my skin a luscious smell.

     For this post, I'm going to share with you my final thoughts on Safeguard Derma Sense for Acne Prone Skin Facial Cleanser. I occasionally suffer from breakouts, one before and after my period and another during summer because of sweat. It is still summer right? It's still hot outside and I'm still busy running errands so sweat, dirt, and other forms of pollution touch my face. There's a time when I feel that a pimple will pop out on my forehead where sweat always runs down.

     Since I've been using Safeguard Derma Sense Facial Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin religiously day and night, the threat of having a new acne has been prevented by this facial cleanser. A good skin care regimen will result in acne-free skin. My skin is not perfect but hey, I'm pimple-free :) 

What I like:

• The price is affordable.
• It comes in a squeeze tube that dispenses the right amount of product.
• Can pass as odourless, so if you're like me who has sensitive nose, you will enjoy using this facial cleanser.
• The product's texture is thick so a little amount goes a long way.
• Using this product is a breeze, only mild circular strokes and you're done.
• My skin felt squeaky clean after using the product.
• I also felt my skin is soft and smooth to touch after use.
• This product results in healthy, beautiful, and acne-free skin. I've seen that my skin is less oily even though I feel like melting under the heat of the sun. 
• My skin feels refreshed every time I use this facial cleanser.
• Most important factor for me is that Safeguard Derma Sense Facial Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin didn't cause breakouts, irritation, allergies, or whatsoever. 
• This facial cleanser is so gentle not only to the skin but also to my eyes :)
• No need to  worry about stinging or burning sensation even though it contains salicylic acid.
• The product is easily available.
• There's batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the tube.

What I don't like:

• Doesn't produce a good lather. I guess this is because I'm used to soaps that lathers well. 

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:

     I give this facial cleanser a 4.75/5 rating. I'm a bit skeptical on the first week of using the product but after seeing that it prevented acne formation on my forehead, I'm convinced that Safeguard Derma Sense targets the germs that cause acne. I'm also using an effective moisturizer after washing my face together with Safeguard Derma Sense Facial Cleanser so I guess a good skin care regimen will really help in combating those nasty zits.

     Hello dearies! Still enjoying summer? I know you are! There are different activities that makes summer a well-loved season here in our country. A family vacation to one of the pristine beaches and resorts, a barkada outing and road trip to amusement parks, and joining summer activities like outdoor leagues and sports.

     If you're a body wash fanatic, they also have body washes for you! The sensitive and acne-prone body wash. The latter is great for those suffering from bacne. Remember that excessive sweating can attract bacteria so skin care product that protects you from germs is what you need.

Product Review: Japan Yamashiro Organic Deep Intensive Whitening Soap

     Hi dearies! Here's my honest to goodness review of the soap that I've been using for three weeks now. Even though the soap is dubbed as "See results in 3 minutes" I still make sure that I use it for more than two weeks since there are other effects that I want to see while road-testing the product. I believe that one week is not enough to test a soap, especially whitening ones. I'm already fair to begin with so chances are there will not be a drastic change in the whitening and lightening department.

instruction for use: For the face, use the soap as normal. For the body, leave the soap's lather for 3 minutes. After a couple of days, there will be micro-peeling effect. Use a wet towel to exfoliate your skin. It is highly recommended to use a good whitening lotion or moisturizer to fasten the whitening.

What I like:

• It's organic!
• The price is affordable since it will really last more than a month. If you'll do the math it's around 8 PHP/day. 
• The scent is not overpowering. It has a subtle sweet scent.
• The soap is mild. No stinging sensation during the required time that the soap's lather should be left on the skin.
• It produces a good lather.
• My skin feels squeaky clean after each bath.
• EXFOLIATES VERY WELL!
• No irritation, breakouts, allergies, or whatsoever.
• The soap doesn't melt fast despite the hot weather.
• My skin is soft and smooth to touch after use.
• It made my skin even toned even if I'm always out in the sun running errands. It's a no joke that I always feel like I'm getting fried whenever I walk in the streets around 12 in the afternoon. 
• It lightens my wound scar a bit after three weeks of use. 

What I don't like:

• Not easily accessible.
• Doesn't have batch, manufacturing and expiry date.
• No English translation of the product information.

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:
     I give this soap a 4.5/5 rating. I like the soap's exfoliating powers! I can see dead skin cells big time every bath. As for the texture, the soap is economical to use as it doesn't melt fast or should I say no melting at all in the soap dish despite the hot weather unlike other organic whitening soaps in the market today. 

     Always use the soap as instructed. Since I've only consumed a bar of Japan Yamashiro Organic Deep Whitening Soap, the whitening effect on my fair skin tone is not drastic but with continued use I'm sure that my blemishes will fade one step at a time. I've seen a lightening on my small knee scar and that's a wonderful result in as fast as three weeks. The soap leaves a powdery feel after use too so my skin is really soft and smooth to to touch. I highly recommend this soap. Yes, it worked for me :)

Product Review: Mischka Derma Secret Micro Peel Soap

     Hello dearies! Sharing with you another review of skin care product from Mishka Derma Secret. For those of you who want to remove minor skin discoloration and surface residue, this soap from the brand might work for you. It's my first micro peeling soap review and three weeks ago I started using it everyday. Because this is a micro peel soap, I'm expecting it to be harsh on the skin and will require me to stay at home since the skin will be very sensitive when exposed to sun rays.

     To be honest, I'm having second thoughts if I'll use the soap or not because based on what I've seen with my cousin who had a body peeling sessions, the skin will literally fall off, shed in big or small pieces. Since I trust Mischka Derma Secret, I gave it a shot. I said to myself that it's just a MICRO PEEL SOAP so I should expect a minimal and not so visible peeling.
