     Last December 10, 2019,  Northern Moms Philippines had an afternoon of learning while having fun at Tinker House SM City Fairview branch with our dear readers and their little kids. We had an afternoon full of arts and crafts activities from Tinker House and the experience is one for the books.

     It's my first time to step inside a playhouse full of art materials, building tools, and science equipment. Their tagline "where curiosity grows" empowers kids to design, build and discover and Tinker House is on a mission to help nurture the next generation of creatives, innovators, scientists, inventors, and artists- one tinker project at a time! The kids were already doing the first activity when I arrived at the venue and the curious cat in me decided to join the fun!

National Gifted Week 2019 Kite Flying Event with Promil Four

     Growing up in a family with a bakeshop business has taught me a lot especially in handling money at an early age. We used to have a bakery in my parent's house and business starts as early as 4 in the morning. Since I'm the eldest, it's my responsibility to help run our 'panaderya' after school and on weekends.

     I'm the cashier that's why I learned the value of money and the difference of twenty pesos and a hundred bucks in terms of buying and selling bread products. From what I saw from my parents, you have to earn it the hard way in order for you to think more than twice before spending it. They instilled in me the difference between needs and wants and why it is important to save money at an early age. Now that I'm a mom to an adolescent, it's time to teach my son the simple tips that I've learned from my parents on the value of savings.

     Last week, we had a short but meaningful meet and greet with the working Congresswoman of San Jose del Monte Bulacan- "Ate Rida or "Ate Cong" to her second family or the residents of her town. She is the wife of Mayor Arthur Robes who also has been serving the San Joseños for years now. Both of them are working hand-in-hand to serve over 1 million constituents in San Jose Del Monte Bulacan in the hopes of improving and making their lives meaningful through realistic projects that are pro-family and pro-women. Marvel 80 Years at SM

     Marvel diehard fans here in the Philippines are in for the biggest celebration this year. Legoland Hotel Malaysia Adventure Themed Room- Rates, Photos, Review

     Have you read my Legoland Malaysia Water Park post? If not, click here what happened on our day 1 in Legoland Malaysia :) To those who are planning to visit Legoland, complete your experience by booking an overnight stay at the Legoland Hotel. Yes, a trip to Legoland will not be complete without this experience that's why I decided to give it a go instead of booking a hotel near the area.

     Our main itinerary last June 11-14 was to celebrate my son's 10th birthday at Legoland Malaysia. We arrived at Singapore on June 11 and stayed one night there before going to Malaysia the next day, June 12. I booked our Legoland Hotel room online and chose the cheapest rate (it's one week to go before the chosen date that's why most of the rooms were higher than usual). Room rate a week before our arrival is around P15,000/night and only a few themed rooms left. I asked my son which themed room where he likes to stay and he chose the Adventure Themed Room over the Pirate one.

     I believe that traveling is important because it gives a once in a lifetime experience seeing the beauty of the country or the place that you'll visit. It's also the time where you'll get to spend time with your family and have that so-called 'me-time' while creating memories for a lifetime. This is one of the many reasons why I work hard and save a lot in order for me to treat my family for an annual out of the country vacation.

     In our second year, we decided to celebrate my son's 10th birthday in Legoland Malaysia. We had our 4-day vacation last June 11-14, 2019. It was a Singapore-Malaysia trip because based on my research, the fastest way to reach Legoland Malaysia is to travel by train or bus from Singapore.      Mothers deserve the utmost respect for dedicating so much time and energy to raising a child. Being a stay at home mother can be an overwhelming experience, and it can sometimes lead to the development of stress or mental health problems. 

      In addition to this, a lot of mothers try to put on their ‘happy face,’ all the while struggling with taking care of kids, juggling a million errands, and running on minimal amounts of sleep. Jack ‘n Jill My BFF (Baon Favorites Forever)

     It's back to school again. After shopping for school supplies last May and early June, now is the time for the kiddos to see their friends, meet new teachers and have fun in class. The kids are also looking forward to seeing what's inside their lunchbox because I believe that snack time is one of their favorite time in school.

     As for me and the hubby, this is the time to wake up early, prepare breakfast, and make sure that Kenzo is ready for school. This is also the time where we will resume our grocery shopping for his baon.      Infertility is an experience that can take a huge toll on anyone’s life. Promil Four i-Shine 7 Celebrate the Gift Grand Recital

     I'm still on a high note! I can't believe that it has been a week since we celebrated the gift- my son's talent in dancing. We are so proud of Kenzo. He showed us that he can dance in front of a big audience, no stage fright or act of being shy. He is enjoying every step that was taught to him by one of the best choreographers in the country today, teacher Ishii of GForce.

     How did it all happen? Well, it all started on the first day of Promil Four i-Shine Talent Camp 7. A  summer talent development program in partnership with experts to help kids 6-11 years old become their very best. It is a talent camp that will help discover and develop your child's talent and passion because the kids will be enhancing their skills in performing and visual arts through mental, physical and social stimulation workshops. Sharing below the highlights of Promil Four i-Shine Dance Camp (Day 1-6), and the very successful grand recital after the jump.
