Everyday Essentials Loot, Woot Woot!

Tuesday, June 19, 2012

Here it is, my much awaited prizes from another giveaway that I joined two months ago. It's from THE BEAUTY JUNKEE'S 3rd Grand Anniversary Giveaway! This is the grandest giveaway that I've joined and the prizes at stake are really awesome. I never expected to win because I know a lot of her readers are witty and sensible when it comes to their answers. I just expressed what I really feel and learned from reading TBJ's blog posts. So lo and behold, these goodies came home with me last Sunday.
1. Covergirl Makeups- Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Black, Nature Luxe Lip Balms in Hibiscus and Smoky Shadow Blast in Tempest Blue
2. Camaru Naturals Organic Soaps- Acerola, Rice Bran and Charcoal soap, Camellia Oil and an Eco Friendly Bag
3. China Glaze Nail Polishes- Let It Snow Holiday Collection 2011 ( Ponsettia, Tinsel Town and Velvet Bow), Icicle, Nail File and Nail Kit
4. Carmex Lip Balms- Lip balm in a Jar, Click sticks (Original, Strawberry and Cherry), Lip Balm in Tube
5. Samples of L'Oreal Youth Code, Revita Lift and BB cream

These are more than enough for me. Since I have 3 sisters and sisters-in-law, I decided to share it with them. I also told them to observe the effects of the Camaru natural soap so that I can chronicle their experiences to my blog. I already started using the charcoal soap and will share my reviews on one of post.

Product Review: Pure Beauty Tsubaki Treatment Shampoo

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

image from Google
I’m always on the search for the right shampoo on my hair. My hair is colored and it tends to get dry after one month of coloring. I’ve read that Shiseido Tsubaki is good in terms of giving a soft, shiny and healthy hair. But the price is a bit steep for me. So the cheapskate in me found an alternative that can be compared to Shiseido’s quality.
Pure Beauty Tsubaki Treatment Shampoo
Pure Beauty Treatment Shampoo is enriched with Camellia Seed Oil from Japan to help nourish and moisturise dry and damaged hair. This frequent use shampoo gently cleanses and strengthens each strand of hair, leaving your hair smoother and more manageable with an exceptional shine.

The pump that dispenses the right amount of product which I really like
Pure Beauty Tsubaki Treatment Shampoo
The product looks like this, sorry for the blurry pic
What I like:
  • Inexpensive for a 500ml bottle that will last me a long time since I only shampoo my hair three times a week.
  • Cleans my hair squeaky clean.
  • My hair is soft and shiny after use.
  • I love the unique scent.
  • The packaging is sealed so you know it’s fresh.
  • Batch number and production date is stamped on the bottom of the bottle.
  • Comes in a pump bottle and dispenses the right amount of product.
  • The color and design of pump bottle is classy.
What I don't like:
  • The scent doesn't last that long.
Will I repurchase?Yes! I'm also planning to buy the conditioner and see how it works on my hair.

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I recommend this to people with thin limp hair like mine. If you want to try a shampoo with Camellia Seed Oil, I guess this an inexpensive alternative to Shiseido Tsubaki’s Line.

What shampoo are you using?Let me know, ayt?

Good Times!~
