     Hello dearies! I'm excited to share with you the latest foot wear collection of Ipanema- one of the famous Brazilian shoe brand here in our country that's been producing high quality and stylish sandals and flip flops for both men and women. Primadonna Pre-Holiday 2015 Collection

     There are times that I cannot decide what type of shoes or sandals to wear when going out for a family dinner. I'm more of a sporty type of individual when it comes to dressing up. I prefer flats than heels or sneakers over pumps. I always look for comfort when choosing my foot wear because I have very sensitive feet. I know that I cannot sport that sporty casual look in some events or family dinner s that I have to attend to. The foot wear that I  must wear should also be in accordance with the type of occasion BUT now that the sporty trend is coming back I don't have to worry because the new trend in sporty type of foot wear is the sporty luxe :)

Fatto a Mano

     Via Venetto takes pride in a 39-step process of shoemaking by hand (or in Italian, fatto a mano), a practice inspired by some of the world’s most renowned brands and perfected by the company for over four decades.

Each pair of Via Venetto shoes is the result of a painstaking 39-step process of shoemaking by hand, or in Italian, fatto a mano.

• Crafting shoes at the Via Venetto factory in Marikina begins with the conceptualization of a shoe design, as well as its translation into a working pattern. This is followed by the cutting, preparation, and closing of the upper, during which the leather is cut by hand or a machine, folded, and sewn together.
• The shoemaker will then prepare the counter, outsole, insole, heel, and toplift, which are skived (cut into thin layers), buffed (smoothed), pressed, cemented, and nailed, before they are placed inside shoe lasts or wooden molds. After the lasting comes the attachment of the sole and heel.
• Finally, the shoes undergo buffing, painting, polishing and cleaning, to the shoe tree for quality control, and are placed in boxes for distribution to stores, where they are sure to be ogled, touched and tried on by enthusiastic customers.

     In the face of the tougher competition brought by the onslaught of cheaper, imported shoes and knock-offs, Ging and the rest of the people behind Via Venetto are unperturbed.

OOTD: Denim and Chiffon

     I'm already getting the hang of taking outfit shot in public :D I found a new photographer in the presence of my younger brother ;P But this just came coincidentally since all the outfit shots he took was taken during his free time. If I'm saying that backlogs are piling up before (usually this goes with haul, product review and event posts) I think my backlogs are piling up again and this time for my outfit of the day. I'm a very shy and soft spoken person that's why I really feel uncomfortable taking pictures in public alone. I always want to take pictures in group or with my son and ze hubby. But now I can say that I'm slowly getting used to take my outfit shots alone anywhere :D

     Here's what I wore when I attended Kanebo's Radiant Beauty Makeup Workshop at Rustan's Makati last week. I preferred the morning sesh around 10 a.m. so that I can go home early and go straight to the dialysis center to look after my father. I had a great time during the workshop that I'll muse on my next post. For this outfit, I just decided to wear something that I think will look good on me but I'm not sure if they really "match". 

Do you sacrifice Fashion for Comfort?

      When it comes to fashion, I know that my style is more of the average girl next door. I feel at ease wearing jeans and shorts paired with tees and blouses. I'm also a fan of flip-flops and ballet flats. I noticed that I'm getting bored with what I use to like before. I'm developing a bit of mature fashion sense because I'm into dresses and wedges lately. But wearing heels lately gave me the "ouch" feeling that I never felt before.
