How to Get Rid of Pimples while Boosting Immune System

Thursday, October 22, 2020

Let's admit that in almost 7 months of quarantine, our lifestyle has changed dramatically. We are all stressed and we cannot deny the fact that it affected us in so many ways. One aspect of our lives that we have given utmost importance is health. We all suddenly became health buffs and fitness enthusiasts because having a strong immune system these days is non-negotiable. But we must also give importance to another aspect that's affecting us mentally- stress!

The pandemic has instilled fear among us and whether we like it or not, we are always overthinking. This habit has contributed to our sleepless nights and hormonal imbalance that's why some of us are experiencing breakouts here and there. Another cause of nasty zits popping in our cheeks and jaw area is the use of a face mask. We are obliged to wear a face mask in public and the material or cloth used in face masks irritates our skin. Fret not because there are effective pimple treatments in the market today and I'm excited to present the first over-the-counter drug that is a clinically-tested and FDA-approved anti-acne and pimple treatment solution in the Philippines- Lactezin. Know more about this after the jump!

Pimples can plague even the freshest of faces. While these pimples and blemishes can cause unsightly redness and bumps, it can also affect your confidence. To stave off pimples and consequently boost confidence, Céleteque DERMOSCIENCE has come up with its ACNE SOLUTIONS line that specifically targets pimples.

This is a line of highly specialized Dermatologist-created products that aim to clear up acne and control oily skin. With regular use, studies have shown a substantial improvement of 80% clearer skin in as early as one week. Have you tried one or two products from the line? I made a review of their acne spot corrector gel HERE years ago and actually it's the first pimple treatment that made into my skin care essential list.

Hello dearies! I would like to share this feature of AcneCare Soap. If you're one of those asking and wondering what type of soap is suited for pimple and acne prone skin, I think here's the answer that you've been waiting for. AcneCare Soap is one of the addition to AcneCare's anti-acne products that was released last year.

To be honest, the soaps that was sent to me by Vida Nutriscience are still with me, in my stash and unopened. Since I really don't experience breakouts for the last three years, methinks that I won't be needing these for now. But for those who are problematic with their skin due to breakouts, here's one of the soaps that you might want to try. This soap is also available at http://www.cheskasstore.net/ Since I have not tried it yet, I will not give a more in-depth review and recommendation. I will share important information about AcneCare Soap- what it's for, ingredients, price and where to buy, okay? So now let's start :)

Product Review: AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion

Thursday, April 28, 2016

Looks like there's another pimple and zit buster in town. Vida Nutriscience Inc., the makers of AcneCare Capsule and AcneCare Soap made their own version of Mario Badescu Drying Lotion but for a fraction of the cost. Last year, (yes, this is a long overdue post) Vida Nutriscience Inc. sent me the newest addition to their anti-acne skin care product line to try. I received boxes of AcneCare soap which I will just give a short shout out in this post as I haven't use a bar until now.

This post will mainly focus on AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion which I presume that is receiving positive reviews from other bloggers who have tried it. I've been using this product once a month, pre-menstrual or post-menstrual period where one or two cystic pimples appear either on my chin or cheeks. By the way, I found out that this product is available at http://www.cheskasstore.net/ if it's always out of stock in other stores. So without further ado, here is my honest to goodness review of AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion.

Product Review: AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion

AcneCare Drying Lotion is a fast acting, effective acne spot solution for all skin types. Here are the key ingredients:
  • Zinc Oxide- It helps clear up acneic skin due to sun's UV rays, pollution, harsh weather, dry air, bacteria, viruses, chemicals in personal care products, poor diet, stress, and lack of exercise can all damage skin on a daily basis.
  • Titanium Dioxide- An active ingredient that is used as a coloring agent, whitener, thickening agent, and sunscreen.

Product Review: AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion
L- small pimple, it's already on the 'hinog' stage.
R- how it looks like after application of AcneCare Acne Drying Lotion.

What I like:
  • The price is very affordable if I'll do the math because I only need a little amount to cover my zit/s.
  • A little amount goes a long way.
  • There's a minty and cooling sensation once the product is applied on my angry, reddish, and painful zit.
  • Doesn't burn or peel the site where I applied it.
  • Dries quickly upon application.
  • It can dry up a small pimple overnight.
  • There's a minty and cooling sensation that I felt upon application. It's soothing and can calm redness.
  • No further irritation, breakouts, or whatsoever.
  • Batch, manufacturing, expiration date printed on the bottle.
  • Easily accessible.

What I don't like:
  • The packaging is flimsy.
  • I wish it's in a more decent bottle packaging.
  • Always OOS. (out of stock)
  • There's a herbalish scent that my nose can't tolerate.

Will I repurchase? Yes, but not for now as I still have a back-up bottle in my stash.

Recommendations:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. This is easy to apply just get a cotton bud and dip inside the bottle to get the pink sediment and apply it to your pimple/s. I highly recommend this product because it really works. For small pimples, it will take overnight but for those with a moderate case, it takes two to three days in my experience before the pimple/s shrink in size and totally dry itself.

Even though the recommended dose of application is once a day, I apply it twice especially if a pimple is big and painful. What you need to do if you're just staying at home is apply this after a bath and after washing your face at night before bedtime.
