     How do you remove your makeup? I'm sure that you've tried a lot of makeup remover sold in the market today. Can I say that this generation is so lucky because there are different types you can choose from? Facial wipes, cleansing oils, and facial foams to name a few plus a new type of cleanser- the micellar water that's been getting good reviews from beauty bloggers and makeup enthusiasts all over the world.

     Biorè, a very popular skincare brand in Japan finally reached the Philippine shores. The brand offers skin cleansing products that are gentle yet effective in removing makeup residue. I've known the brand since I was in college because of their nose strips and yes I'm amazed that they have a wide array of cleansing products, especially with their makeup removers.      Ever since I started using makeup, I prefer makeup remover wipes because they are easy to use and easily accessible. What I love about Biorè Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets is the size, not too big nor too small. It's a plus for not dripping wet and has a subtle floral scent. It can remove waterproof makeup easily too. I also like that it's affordable and available in leading department stores nationwide. One of my favorites from Biorè Cleansing line :)

     Biorè URU URU 2in1 Cleanser is really fun to use because of the foamy and creamy texture. I only need a single pump for light makeup. It has a rich lather and thick lather and doesn't cause friction when applying all over the face. it made my skin soft, smooth and radiant after cleansing. If you're using a heavy and waterproof mascara, you may opt to use the cleansing oil first before washing your face with this cleanser. I only wish there's a refill bag for this since the bottle is sturdy enough and will last a long time so it would be economical if they have refills instead of buying another bottle.

A little amount of Biorè Cleansing Oil goes a long way!

     I veered away from cleansing oil because I find it too thick for my combination skin. Since I don't use heavy makeup, I'm okay with cleansing wipes and facial foam cleansers. But I have to try and see if this cleansing oil lives true to the claims so I tested Biorè Cleansing Oil last week. I was surprised that Biorè's formulation is not heavy on my face, a little goes a long way and dissolves makeup quickly especially waterproof mascara. The only thing I noticed that it stings my sensitive eyes during application. It has a subtle fruity scent which is a plus for me because I also have a sensitive nose.

     Drum roll please... my newest fave! At first, I thought I broke out using this but after using this alone to remove my HG (holy grail) makeup, I found out that the culprit is the Shiseido Foundation that I'm also road-testing. Anyhoo, this makeup remover is one for the books. It's Oil-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, colorant free, non-comedogenic, allergy and ophthalmologist tested.

     What I love about Biorè Micellar Cleansing Water in Oil Control Formula (for my combination skin)- its made from natural mineral water, super gentle on skin, did not break me out, no sting on my sensitive eyes, made my skin soft and supple. It has collagen, and in long time use can make pores looks smaller. Though the price may not be budget friendly, it lives up to its promise.

Product Review: Tony Moly Fresh Cleansing Tissue

     Hello dearies! I'ts been ages since my last review of cleansing facial wipes. This is one of the skin care essentials that I cannot live without. I always make sure that I have a back up in my bag or in my makeup pouch. I don't sport heavy makeup everyday or every time I go to events but I still use facial cleansing wipes because I like the feel of washing my face with only little traces of bb cream, lipstick, waterproof mascara and eyeliner.

     I made a review of Tony Moly Floria cleansing wipes here which I truly like. But when I received this variant weeks ago, I'm amazed because of the ingredients list because it contains baking soda and other beauty oils to remove makeup and leave the skin fresh and moisturized. What I like:

• The price is affordable because a pack contains 50 sheets. Some cleansing wipes that have 10 sheets per pack can cost you more than 100 php.
• The scent is not overpowering. It has a faint powder scent.
• The sheet is thicker than the regular baby wipes.
• Does the job in removing heavy makeup especially waterproof eyeliner and pigmented lipstick.
• My skin felt clean and refreshed after use 
• Doesn't sting my eyes.
• One sheet is enough for my entire face.
• Not dripping wet and almost dry unlike other facial wipes.
• Contains baking soda and essential beauty oils like lavender, olive, jojoba, argan, and avocado.
• My face looks moisturized after using this facial wipes.
• No breakouts, irritation, or whatsoever.
• Easily accessible, it's always available on Tony Moly's shelves.
• Available in 15, 30, and 50 sheets per pack. The 15 sheet/pack is great for trips.
• Manufacturing and expiration date printed on the package.
• There's an English translation on the Korean text.

What I don't like:

• Wasn't able to remove my waterproof mascara.

Will I repurchase? Yes!!! This is very nice in removing all the heavy traces of makeup and all I need is just one sheet.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. This facial wipes/tissue from Tony Moly is another fave. I have tried another variant from Tony Moly before that I also like but this one is better because of the baking soda and beauty oils. Using this cleansing wipes also doubles as applying moisturizer on your face or moisturizing and prepping your face with baking soda because washing.

     I know there will be times that you are dead tired and just want to hit the sack right after cleaning all the gunk of makeup on you face. This will help you a lot but I will not encourage you to sleep right away. Washing your face no matter how sleepy and tired you are is one of your best defenses against nasty breakouts!

     Remember my post that I'm ranting on my broken camera? Now it's times two! My son accidentally kicked the laptop that I'm using and something happened to its hard drive.      Hello dearies! Happy Monday to all :) Been absent for three days and wasn't able to published another review because of some personal matters. I hope that I'll be able to update this blog everyday this whole week. What I like:

• The price- cheapest among the toners that I've tried.
• My skin feels squeaky clean after use.
• There is a cooling sensation and  just a little sting
• Able to cleanse deep-seated dirt and heavy makeup.
• Leaves skin matte and oil-free.
• Wide selection of toners for different skin needs.
• Lightened some dark spots after 2 weeks of every other day use.

What I don't like:

• Caused dryness on some parts of my skin.

Will I repurchase? Yes because truly soap is not enough to cleanse that deep-seated dirt. 

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. Other than the faint alcohol smell and the dryness, I really liked seeing my face squeaky clean after using this product. I noticed some of my pimple marks have lightened. I'm not saying that this product alone made those blemishes lighter, applying this every other day somehow helped those unsightly dark spots appear less visible. I'm also giddy to try other variants of Eskinol but methinks I need to use this continuously if I really want to see maximum results and if it will make pimple marks vanish after long-term use.

Skin Care Hauls+ My First Zalora Purchase

     How's everyone? I miss you guys! :D Finally I'm back to regular programming after being MIA. I'm already getting used to my father's situation and I'm very thankful to those who prayed for me and my dad. Thank you Lord for giving us patience and strength to cope with the obstacles that we're facing now.

     This is another overdue post but I know it's worth sharing since I'm adding a new skin care product to my regimen. If you follow me on twitter, I mentioned in my tweets weeks ago that I'm suffering from acne breakouts. Maybe it's because of stress or some hormonal changes in my body. I didn't changed my skin care routine for more than months now so I really don't know the culprit behind those red and nasty zits. I'm tired of just letting it go- my pimple per se. I usually ignore a pimple or two before but they left my face with dark spots/marks. So I decided to look for a budget friendly pimple spot treatment to lessen irritation and post acne marks. After reading reviews and comparing one product from another, I decided to gave these zit zappers a try plus I restocked on Maybelline Make Up Remover (Eye and Lip) and Purederm Make Up Cleansing Tissues.

     Maybe you're already familiar with Celeteque's Acne Solution line and I guess most of you have tried this pimple treatment. I will say my thoughts about this zit zapper soon. If you're wondering what Quick FX Pimple Eraser is, then wait for my review :D This pimple eraser promises to lighten pimple marks and prevent new pimples from popping up. Been using this for a week now and haven't seen any drastic changes on the intensity of the pigmentation. I will update you guys once I've seen some lightening on my dark spots. 

     Anyhoo, Yay to my first Zalora purchase!!! My eyes are glued on this loafers months ago but quite hesitant to buy this online because I'm afraid that it won't give me a nice fit. I'm not sure if I'm a size 8 or 9 which always happens when I'm buying a new pair of shoes on the store itself.

Product Review: Nivea Visage Soft Facial Cleansing Wipes

     Sorry for the lack of post. After watching Breaking Dawn, Edward Cullen doesn't stop swirling on my mind so I forgot that I have to review some products that I purchased a week ago. 

     On to the review, this facial wipes is just a substitute to my favorite Neutrogena facial wipes that I've been using more than a year now. The SA said that Neutrogena is always out of stock these past few days. I have no choice, I ran out of facial wipes so I have to buy Nivea instead. This wipes can be used for face, neck and eyes. You can see on the upper left portion of the packaging the word INNOVATION meaning new soft fleece with intensively cleaning micro-sponges and because of this I'm sold.

direction for use: pull out one wipe and gently cleanse face and eyes with the micro-sponge fleece. carefully re-seal the pack label after use.

What I like:

• Soft to use and take off most of my makeup.
• I only use 1 sheet for my entire face.
• I can also use this in removing my eyeliner.
• No irritation or breakouts or whatsoever.
• It has a light powdery scent that is not overpowering.
• Manufacturing and expiry date is printed on the packaging.
• Affordable for a 25 pcs. wipes compared to other brands.

What I don't like:

• There is no English translation in the Arabic text at the back of the package.
• There is no product ingredients.
• Not easily accessible, I need to go to Trinoma to buy this and it's a bit far away from where I live.
• I need to wipe my eyelids more than three times to remove my eyeliner so I use baby oil first so I can swipe it only once.

Will I repurchase?Maybe Yes, If my favorite Neutrogena facial wipes is still OOS. 

Recommendation:

     I give this 3.75/5 rating. As for removing dirt and makeup in my face this does the job but you still need to use facial wash to remove traces of makeup. Using this wipes is just an extra step so that your sure you cleanse your face thoroughly then follow your cleanse-tone-moisturize routine before hitting the sack.
