Product Review: Be Organic Argan Oil Intensive Treatment Hair Mask

Sunday, December 22, 2013

For some women, hair is one of the most high maintenance part of the body. I'm sure you'll agree with me especially if you have long black or color treated hair. How many shampoos and conditioner do you use everyday and how many times a month do you treat your hair for a luxurious hair treatment at home or at your favorite salon? If you're a hair conscious babe, I'm sure you visit the salon regularly for different kinds of hair treatment suited to your hair needs.

Do you sometimes wish that even if you have chemically processed/treated hair, your tresses will be low maintenance? How we wish right?! I have a long chemically treated hair. My hair had gone through a lot of coloring and other hair treatment procedures that includes mechanical and chemical processes. I can say that my hair is in the state I know my hair is dry and damaged because every time I look in the mirror or every time I touch my hair, I can see and feel the effects of those nasty chemicals. I already tried hair treatment products from high end, cost-effective and budget friendly ones. Some of them made my hair more damaged while others have temporary effect but these kind of treatments should be done regularly. Aside from the budget, you also have to consider time and effort if you really want to maintain beautiful tresses like those that you see from hair product commercials. Do you feel like you've invested everything but none of them works? Why don't you try something natural and organic? Here's my honest to goodness review of Be Organic Argan Oil Intensive Treatment Hair Mask that was sent to me Be Organics Bath and Body, a DIY hair treatment that really works! Product Review: Kerastase Reflection Chroma Riche Masque

Monday, December 03, 2012

Hi loves! How's your long weekend so far? Hope everyone's enjoying this long vacay. This review was scheduled yesterday but the fail blogger in me sits in and I forgot to schedule it on time. Bummer! Well, if my memory serves me right this is the first expensive hair treatment mask that I have to date. Since I have color-treated hair, it's very important to give it hair treatment every week so that it'll look shiny and soft to touch. I also wanted the color to last longer than usual and make it more vibrant so I really need to invest on hair treatments that's cost- effective.

I did not plan to invest on a whooping thousand plus pesos hair treatment product. I know there's a lot of commercial brands that will not break my bank. But if I have a chance to use an expensive one, then I grab the chance. Thanks to my luck on joining contests because I won this hair treatment that I considered a luxurious one! To tell you honestly, I really take advantage of this product since this is very pricey. I use this once a week and let the magic stays on my hair for more than 10 minutes even if the instructions says 5 :P I know it's so wrong not to follow instructions (I did it thrice) and good thing nothing bad happened to my hair.
I'm already half- way the tub. If only I can make this lasts the whole year so that every DIY treatment will be worth the price I'll do it. But nothing lasts forever so I'll just enjoy and cherish every moment I use this product on my locks. If you see my pictures and you noticed that my hair is tamed and the color is vibrant it only means that I've used this hair mask on my locks.

What I like:
  • Classy packaging.
  • The scent- not overpowering.
  • A little goes a long way.
  • Gives my color-treated hair the shine it needs.
  • My hair feels soft and smooth after using this mask.
  • Easily accessible.
  • With batch and manufacturing date printed on the tub.
  • I didn't experienced any hair fall.
What I don't like:
  • Very pricey!!!
  • In a tub, a bit unhygienic to use if you just dip your fingers every after use.
Will I repurchase? Maybe, if I have the money to spend on a hair care product that really works why not. But as of the moment, I'll save my money first :)

Recommendation:
I give this a 4/5 rating. This hair masque gives my hair the boosts that it needed like softness and shine. The color of my hair stays vibrant after a month of using it once a week and there's a luminous effect after every wash. I love this product but the price is very steep for a cheapskate like me. But if you have the money, this is a very good buy for making your hair vibrant! It's ok to spend on luxurious treatment once in a while but if you're a cheapskate like me, I think there's a lot of cheaper hair mask treatment out there to try that can give the same results. If you want an affordable hair treatment product that works, I recommend you to try Lorys Snake Oil and Duo Chocolate variants ^^

Have you tried Kerastase hair treatment products? What's your favorite?

Good Times!~
