     Glutathione has been a part of our skin-care products which helps us achieve fairer and even-toned skin. But do you know that there are actually two types of glutathione and that not all glutathione supplements are the same?

     The first type of glutathione, L-glutathione (reduced), is the one that is more familiar to the public since it is the most common glutathione present in the food supplements that we take. The only downside to this type is that there are limitations when it comes to its effectiveness. L-glutathione still needs to be oxidized in our body so that it can be converted into something that can be easily absorbed by our body.

If you’re the type who likes to take anti-aging and overall wellness to the next level, this supplement is for you. A bit pricey but it’s FDA approved plus vegetarian-friendly.      I’ve been doing product reviews since time immemorial and beauty supplement review is one of my forte. I can’t believe that it's only this year that I decided to try KB L-glutathione plus NAC.      Hello dearies! I've been receiving questions about the best glutathione brands that I've tried to date. Among the brands that I've reviewed, I always recommend three to four brands based on their price, ingredients, and effects on my skin. These brands are tried and tested and many swears by their effects too. 

      Today, I'll be sharing another promising brand that I will include on my recommendation list. If you're NOT allergic to ALA (alpha lipoic acid) then rejoice now because of Relumins Glutathione 1000 mg or Relumins Gluta-1000 has the highest ALA content among the brand that I've tried. Alpha Lipoic Acid is one of the best glutathione boosters because it gives a beautiful glow and according to Livestrong, it is 400 times stronger than vitamin C and E.      I've made a lot of whitening supplements here on my blog. The most famous whitening supplement is glutathione and I presume that you already know what it does to your body aside from whitening. Glutathione is the favorite whitening pill of many Filipinas. It comes in different forms now and if you read the ingredients, one or more boosters are combined with glutathione to make the effect faster.

     For today, I'll be sharing my thoughts on Gluta-White 500- the first brand of glutathione that's listed on MIMS and does not contain any boosters in the ingredient. This one is pure L-glutathione in every capsule. If you're a beginner in taking whitening supplements, I highly suggest this brand because if allergic reactions arise, there's only one culprit.      Hi dearies! Thank you so much for reading my glutathione reviews. I know it's hard to choose a brand because there are so many to choose from. There are three things to consider in choosing the best brand for you- ingredients, price, and effect. That's why I always stress that what works for me may not work for you or vice versa.

     Taking glutathione alone will not work if you have dark or morena/o skin tone to begin with. Another factor that you should always take into consideration is lifestyle change. Once you take glutathione, you have to cut all your vices, use sunblock everyday, avoid sun exposure, and other things that will result in skin darkening. What I like:

• The packaging- It is tightly sealed once you purchase a bottle so no need to worry about contamination. There's also a seal on top of the bottle opening.
• Stinky rotten egg odor is present once you open the bottle. 
• Relumins Advance White Active Glutathione Complex also contains ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid), NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine), Vitamin E, and Selenomethionine known as potent boosters to speed up the whitening process of the skin.
• No allergic reactions vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts, or whatsoever.
• It made my skin glowing the next day even if I only have 4 hours of sleep every night.
• I did not breakout before and after my menstrual period.
• The color of my freckles lightened a bit.
• After taking this religiously for a month, I can say that it lightened some of the insect bites in my legs. 
• It evened out my skin tone. 
• I'm already fair to begin with but Relumins gave a creamy and almost translucent white color to my pale and dull skin. 
• Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package. 

What I don't like:

• The price is a bit steep for budget-conscious individuals.
• This has issues before on FDA and I'm not sure if it's already FDA approved as of this writing.
• Not easily accessible, you have to purchase it online.
• There are individuals who are allergic to ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid).
• To be really honest, I have a hard time swallowing the capsule. It hurts my throat. For the first two weeks of taking Relumins, I feel like I have a sore throat after swallowing it.

Will I purchase? It's in the realm of possibility.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.25/5 rating. I like the effects of Relumins on my skin but I'm having a hard time swallowing it. Maybe it's just me that's why I always tell those who want to try this kind of whitening supplements to take at their own risk. The effects that I experienced will be different from what they'll experience because we have different body composition. 

     I'm satisfied with the results that I saw after taking Relumins Advance White Active Glutathione Complex after one month but hate the feeling while taking it. If you have the budget, you can try this.
