Product Review: Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Whitening Facial Scrub

Thursday, August 07, 2014

Hello dearies! I want to share another good news with you. My favorite Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Body scrub now has a milder and gentler version suitable for the face. If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that I'm addicted to Asian Secrets body scrub. You can search my haul post and see that every time I go shopping for my bath essentials, you will see a tub of this oh so good body scrub. Now that they already have the facial scrub version, I'm sure you will no longer hesitate to exfoliate the dead skin cells on your face. This facial scrub is formulated to remove dead skin cells and other impurities caused by dirt and pollution.

I've been using this facial scrub for two weeks now, I use it every other day. Since the formula is mild and gentle on the skin, I have no worries for a possible breakout or whatsoever. Exfoliating facial scrub is important like facial mask at least twice or thrice a week to remove dead skin cells and maximize the effect of skin care products that you apply on your skin. Product Review: Human Heart Nature Purifying Facial Scrub

Friday, December 07, 2012

Exfoliation is an important part of skin care for both the face and body. Face and body scrubs have been part of my skin care regimen ever since and I always make sure that I scrub them once or twice a week. Exfoliation helps in removing dead skin cells and make our creams, lotions, serums and other skin care products more effective because it will be absorbed more. I presume that many of us have tried St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I used it before but I find the scrub a bit harsh for my skin. If you're a long time reader of this blog prolly you know that my HG facial mask as of the moment is Purederm Dual-Well Being Pack. It's not a scrub but a peeling gel that comes with a face mask.

Since most of the skin care products that I use now contains natural ingredients, methinks it's time to look for a natural facial scrub that works! Good thing my sister won in a giveaway where she got a loot of Human Heart Nature skin products. She gave me this facial scrub weeks ago. So after two weeks of using this scrub (twice a week) here's my honest to goodness review.  This product is a keeper and an addition to my growing organic skin care products as well.

  • No irritation, breakouts or whatsoever.
  • No parabens, phthalates, SLS/SLES or other toxic substances.

What I don't like:
  • Not readily available, I hope Human Heart Nature will bring it to leading department stores and groceries nationwide.

Will I repurchase? Yes, this product is back-up worthy.

Recommendation:
I give this a 4.75/5 rating. As much as I wanted to give this product a perfect rating, methinks will just reserve it since this is my first organic facial scrub. I will not rave too much about it because I also want to give other organic face scrubs in the market a try. BUT this facial scrub performs well and stays true to it's promise! I also love that my face feels squeaky clean without the drying and tight feeling after using this scrub.

Good Times!~
