     Hello, dearies! I’ve been taking and reviewing collagen supplements for years now and late last year, I discovered a new, fun, and delicious way of taking it through chewing! Collagen gummy supplement is making a name in the anti-aging department these days. According to healthline.com, gummy vitamins per see are chewable vitamins that have a texture and taste similar to gummy candies. It comes in different flavors, colors, and shapes. 

     More popular with adults and kids these days because it's so convenient to take especially for those who are having a hard time ingesting vitamins and supplements because of their size or aftertaste.      And the search for the best or at least right collagen for me continues. When I say right, it only means the one that will give me the glow and youthful skin sans the plump cheeks. I'm happy that collagen supplements are now available in different forms- powder and juice drink, tablet, gummy, and candy to name a few. But I have this love-hate relationship with collagen because it adds a visible weight to my round face shape.

     Look at the color of the packaging, it's hot pink! My first impression when the box reached our doorsteps last month. Upon opening, I saw 31 jelly sticks that need to be consumed as an everyday dessert but at the back of my mind I was figuring out the taste. If you're a long time collagen supplement user, I assume that most of the collagen brands that you have tried in the market today have a fishy smell and taste.

     At first, I was intimidated by the color of the Otsuka Collagen C Jelly stick, I'm a bit hesitant to taste it because my sensitive nose smells something different. It smells fruity but there's a bit of fish smell. Without tasting the product, I can surely say it's collagen. As for the taste, I can say it's like blackcurrant to berry but again, there's an aftertaste like that of the regular collagen that I've tried and reviewed before but it was tolerable!

What I like:

• Otsuka Collagen Jelly C is Japan FDA approved.
• The packaging- it's very handy and travel-friendly.
• It's wrap individually, convenient to bring anytime, anywhere.
• This jelly stick form of collagen can be eaten any time of the day. It's perfect for snacks or dessert because it has a fruity flavor.
• Best paired with glutathione to boost and speed up the whitening process. 
• I didn't experience any discomforts like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts or whatsoever.
• Otsuka Collagen C Jelly made my skin glowing even if there were times that I only have 4 hours of sleep.
• Less hair fall and no more brittle nails.
• It made my skin supple and hydrated. There are times that I don't need to use my favorite lotion.
• My skin looks healthy and shiny- not the 'oil' type of shine, if you may ask.
• Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.

What I don't like:

• The price- a bit steep for budget-conscious individuals.
• Not easily accessible.

Will I purchase? Yes, it's in the realm of possibility. I've already considered taking collagen supplement as part of my anti-aging regimen.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I guess it's because of the collagen content per stick. I made a computation based on what's written on the box (77,500 mg / 31 sticks) so I presume that each stick contains roughly around 2,500 mg of collagen and the required is around 3,000-5,000 mg a day especially if you're older let's say around 40 years old above. But I will still highly recommend this if you're around 25 years old and new to collagen supplements.

     As for the fine lines, pre-mature wrinkles, wrinkles, laugh lines, and crow's feet, I'm lucky that I have a few of them that's unnoticeable as of the moment. While taking the supplement, I did not see a drastic change in their size, appearance etc but my skin felt a tight feeling so meaningless sagging of the skin. Again, it is best to see maximum results with continued use :)

What I like:

• The taste- doesn't have a weird or funky taste. It's like I'm drinking grapes that are concentrated. It's a bit sour but tolerable.
• The packaging is simple, it's in a sturdy bottle and the label is complete with product information.
• The scent is like that of red wine but tolerable. I have a sensitive nose and drinking food supplements with weird smell makes me nauseous. I never experienced that while drinking this.
• No weird feeling or an upset stomach after drinking one shot of this purple juice first thing in the morning. I drink one or two shots of this upon waking up.
• I feel a bit full after taking this before breakfast.
• No breakouts, irritations or whatsoever in my skin. I also noticed that during the time I'm drinking this juice, no new zits or pimples popping out my forehead and chin.
• I noticed that my skin is less oily. 
• I love eating spicy and oily foods. I noticed that there are traces of oil in my stool which is a good indication that bad fats are being expelled from my body.
• I'm usually constipated and this juice helped me ease the difficulty in emptying the bowel.
• I usually crave for sweets in between meals but during the period that I'm drinking this juice, less sweet cravings for a month.
• I feel less lethargic on days that I have mood swings. I can say that I have extra energy during the time I'm drinking this juice.
• I noticed less hair fall. I've been battling with hair fall these past few months after my father's hospitalization. I can say that my hair fall is stress related. Last month, I noticed that I have less hair fall compared to the month that I'm not drinking this. I still use the same hair care products before and while I was drinking the juice.

What I don't like:

• The price- can be a bit expensive for budget-conscious individuals.
• Not easily accessible for those who live in the provinces.

Will I repurchase? Yes!

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.5/5 rating. There are 39 reasons to drink this Organique Acai juice and I think in the long run I will definitely see those results. If I'm diabetic, have cholesterol, suffering from Asthma, and if I have other diseases, the results will be verified by a monthly laboratory. I highly recommend this product if you're looking for a food supplement and would like to cleanse your body from toxins.

My Beautiful Moments with Papalitz

     "Nothing is permanent in this world but change".  I grew up with a bountiful life. I have parents who unconditionally give me what I wanted. New pair of shoes, bags, mobile phones, and large amounts of money but these material things are just temporal things that look beautiful 'outside'. I have few beautiful moments with my parents that I can say 'truly beautiful'. Moments that will leave special memories in my heart.

     Years have passed and my parents are aging. I’m so busy with my life and I forgot time is running out. That’s why I need to make beautiful moments now. These are little things in life like family bonding, running hospital errands for my dialysis patient father, and saying thank you to them every day. I think I’ve been making beautiful moments with my dad lately. I know it’s never too late to make beautiful moments with him. He’s getting weak because of kidney failure. There will be a time that we need to face the reality of other complications. He’s aging and it’s inevitable. But those beautiful moments will make him strong and will give him peace of mind. I don’t know until when the dialysis treatment can sustain his life but all I know now is I have been making beautiful moments with him from simple birthday celebrations that we always celebrate with my family, relatives, and friends.

     Accompanying him during his dialysis treatment and spoon-feeding him even if he can eat on his own. Assisting him when he is walking in the streets. Holding his hands and guiding him every time his eye sight becomes blurry. These are the beautiful moments that I have with my father now. No expensive gifts and material things, just pure, plain simple happiness. These are the things that matters most now because time is of the essence so I need to spend it with him.

     I’m also taking into consideration on how to share with my father the things that will delay aging. My father is only 54 years old and by looking at his photos, he looks like a senior citizen. Met Tathione is a well-known brand of glutathione here in the Philippines. I can say they're one of the pioneer brands that's been commercially sold in pharmacies, drugstores, and beauty stores nationwide. When you say glutathione, the first brand that will come to your mind is MET, right? I've known this brand years ago but wasn't able to try it since I've read so-so reviews about the effects. 

     My cousin has tried Met Tathione years ago with the first formulation and swears with the effects on her body as a whole, she took this not only to whiten skin but to strengthen her immune system. After 1 month of taking Met Tathione, my skin is visibly glowing even though I only have 3-4 hours of sleep. The photo below was taken around 5 p.m. The lighting wasn't able to show how fair my skin is but there's a pinkish glow in my arms. NO FILTER!

• The packaging is so classy. I like that it is repackaged in a minimalist design. The design of the box and bottle packaging exudes what high-quality Japan-made products look like. The box is sealed with plastic and the bottle opening is well-sealed also. 
• The new Met Tathione is also available in two-capsule sachets. Great for trips. No need to worry about the extra bottle in your baggage.
• The new Met Tathione is in liquid soft gel capsule form- this kind of capsule is easily absorbed by the body, unlike the regular capsule.
• This liquid soft gel capsule doesn't have a funky or weird smell. 
• The new Met Tathione is now combined with Algatrium, a component that can triple the glutathione production in the body. It is one of the most potent boosters available in the market today. Algatrium is a patented antioxidant found only in Met, first in the country making Met three times more effective!

• I have a small scratch on my knee became a scar. Taking Met Tathione plus applying my favorite whitening lotion lightened the scar a bit but I can say taking the glutathione made the skin renewal faster than usual. Since I have fair skin, the scar is noticeable but after taking Met Tathione, the dark scar became less visible.
• Batch, manufacturing, and expiry date printed on the package. 
• Easily accessible.

What I don't like:

• The price is steep for budget-conscious individuals and those with a tight budget. 

Will I purchase? Yes! 

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4.75/5 rating. I'm happy with the results that I've experienced with Met Tathione after taking it for a full month. I take the capsules in two divided doses because according to Dra. Cecille, absorption of glutathione is better in divided doses than popping it all at once. No need to take Vitamin C because Algatrium will boost the absorption of glutathione in the body faster. Fewer pills to pop because of that too. 

     This post is getting lengthy already and I have more things to share. Comment all your questions and I'll base my answers according to what Dra. Cecille explained to us :) I'm relieved that there will be professional advice or backup for those who want to take glutathione but are afraid of ingesting food supplements/medicine inside their body.
