The New SM Woman Campaign Launch

     Last June 16 2016 SM Woman invited me to an event with the theme "I am strong and confident" at the 3rd level of SM Makati. It was an evening of confidence and beauty as SM Woman launched their new campaign- 'I am SM Woman.' This was a three-day event where the new and improved look of SM Woman debuts in a glamorous fashion show. 

    For day three, I've witnessed how SM Woman empowered ladies fashion as they now cater to all shapes and sizes. Hooray for a more strong and confident SM Woman. Think you know what SM Woman is all about? Think again. SM Woman now caters to every woman in a way that it never has before – from day to night, every season and every occasion. Highlights of the event and my picks from SM Woman's wide array of clothes below :)

     FUN FACT: Half of my closet is composed mainly of SM Woman tops and dresses. I love this brand because of the selection, fit, and price. I'm proud to say that I am SM Woman. What made the fashion show more exciting and interesting was the mix and match of these clothing lines of SM Woman that I've mentioned above plus the SM Accessories and shoes to complete each model's outfit.

     After the fashion show, we were also treated to s shopping spree at SM Woman section of SM Makati. Most of SM Woman items were on sale that night. I scored tops for 50% off! I'll be sharing with you my SM Woman haul in my next OOTD (outfit of the day) post soon!

ELLE Celebrates 70 Years of Style

     One of the biggest international brands, ELLE, marks its 70th year, and here in the Philippines, the recent celebration was a chic fashion hurrah that showcased the iconic styles over the last seven decades along with the most in vogue styles of today.

     The star-studded event was held at Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Showbiz power couples were present with their families and friends to witness this grand celebration. Everyone's so excited to see the little ones strut the runway. The event also showcased the latest collection of ELLE Philippines including the travel accessories, kids' wear this holiday season, and other timeless pieces that only ELLE can offer.      The event was hosted by Nicole Andersson where the fashion fete featured an array of activities including the ELLE Exhibit, with prominent issues of the magazine together with the Kids and Juniors collections on display; and experiential areas where participants got to decorate their own shirts and shoes, take Instagram photos for printing as souvenirs, and learn more interesting trivia about the beloved brand.

Kids got to design their own ELLE shirt and shoes, and even had a meet and greet with the models at the mall event!

     Celebrity stylist Alyanna Martinez also came out to give tips to parents and kids on appropriate and stylish dressing, particularly for the anticipated Fall/Winter season.

     As everyone anticipates and starts the countdown to Hudson River’s first ever floating catwalk next Thursday, we look back at Jessica Minh Anh’s most iconic hairstyles in her many history-making catwalks. The model and catwalk producer has continuously amazed the world with her fashion phenomena on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, Eiffel Tower, One World Trade Center, London’s Tower Bridge, PETRONAS Twin Towers’ Skybridge, Gardens by the Bay’s Skyway , Seine River in Paris, and Costa Atlantica’s sundeck in Dubai. Besides innovative catwalk presentation, Jessica Minh Anh is known for her extraordinary hairstyles that compliment her exotic look.

     I've experienced how to become Jessica Minh Anh for a day  through one of a kind hairstyling photo shoot. I became a model of HD Makeup Studio and Academy in one of their hair styling course graduation. I have mixed emotions being a hairstyle model because as you all know having a color-treated, my hair had  been abused many times with chemicals and during the graduation photoshoot, lots and lots of hair sprays and other hair styling products was used to style my tresses. Pulling, tugging, tucking, twisting, and other methods was used to make my hair stand up tall but I'm proud because I did it.      I hate to admit it but I consider myself a frustrated runway model, I lack the height the physique plus the confidence to strut the runway. One of my favorite models, Jessica Minh Anh is preparing for another fashion show that will set a new record. She is buy right now, inspired to make another history as she will be walking in a 100-metre floating catwalk on the Hudson Rivera next month.   

     Fashion reached new heights when Jessica Minh Anh posed at 4000 feet on the Grand Canyon Skywalk or hung on the side of the iconic Eiffel Tower in her previous fashion shoots. This time, the model and entrepreneur turned the Big Apple into her latest photo shoot location covering the Hudson River, Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, and New York’s famous skyline. 15 haute couture, high end ready-to-wear, and luxury accessory collections from 4 continents were featured in pre-J Spring Fashion Show 2015 photo shoot last weekend. Jessica Minh Anh Catwalking on the Hudson River

     Global fashion sensation Jessica Minh Anh was first introduced to the Big Apple in June 2014, when she famously transformed One World Trade Center into the world’s newest catwalk 6 months before it was officially open to the public. After marking another milestone in the fashion world on the iconic Eiffel Tower at the end of last year, the model and entrepreneur will return to New York to produce J Spring Fashion Show 2015 on the Hudson River.

     With a vision that goes beyond imagination, Jessica Minh Anh will turn the river’s giant glass boat into a unique floating catwalk on 19 March 2015. Guests will be seated facing the multi-facetted glass window while the boat is cruising to watch models walking in front of them as if they were walking on water. Thanks to a 360-degree view from the boat, New York famous skyline and architectural masterpieces such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, One World Trade Center, and Brooklyn Bridge will become the natural backdrop for the phenomenal catwalk. Yes it's one of a kind because of its architectural structure- the ambiance, the  lighting and the design of the mall itself is unique.      To complement Jessica Minh Anh's extraordinary vision, New York based sound and lighting specialist Bentley Meeker will utilize theatrical fixtures to evenly light the highly anticipated catwalk. The artistic set up will cast the models' reflections against the octagonal glass walls as well as onto the smooth and polished 63rd floor of the Tower.

     Hello dearies! How's your weekend? I received an email from J Model Management and they're inviting me to watch the fashion show in New York City! Yesssss! Sounds good to be true but unfortunately I'm not going.      Hello there! Sharing with you another batch of photos from the recently held J Spring Fashion Show on Gardens by the Bay's Skyway in Singapore. I'm a frustrated runway model that's why I enjoyed seeing photos of different models strutting the runway showcasing beautiful and intricate designs of gowns and other kinds of clothing for men and women.

     After breaking records and creating the World’s Highest Fashion Show on the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the US a mere few months ago, model turned entrepreneur Jessica Minh Anh, recently added yet another phenomenal catwalk to her extensive list of stupefying global fashion shows. This time the model’s sky high runway landed upon Asia’s latest architectural wonder, Gardens by the Bay’s OCBC Skyway, providing onlookers with more mind-blowing high fashion.
