Japanese Restaurant

Feature: Hanamaruken Ramen

Tuesday, November 14, 2017

Months ago, I was craving for ramen after looking for furniture for our newly renovated house. I still can't believe that it's only my first time to eat authentic ramen since the trend hit several years ago. Yes, it was already years ago when numerous ramen restaurants sprouted around Metro Manila faster than you could slurp up a bowl of miso soup.

Fast forward today, ramen restaurants are too many to count. So what to expect when you see a ramen house? Check the three criteria-quality, authenticity, and (for the bolder chefs), an innovation so that you'll have a happy tummy after finishing a bowl. We were in Trinoma that day and we found a place where ramen is served the way it should be- Hanamaruken Ramen. Kow more about this ramen house in my short feature below.

Hello dearies! Last week, I was invited to the opening of Chef’s Noodle's latest branch in Ayala Fairview Terraces. Enticing foodies of all ages in Fairview and nearby locations will now enjoy Korean favorite dishes at a very affordable price :) Known for its delectable yet reasonably priced selection of Korean fare, Chef’s Noodle Philippines is a proud master franchise of the very popular Chef’s Noodle chain of restaurants in Korea.

While the fast casual restaurant is focused on bringing authentic Korean fare to the Philippines, Chef’s Noodle is able to differentiate itself from other Korean restaurants in the country by offering unique dining options that lean towards Korean fusion.

The interiors of the new branch continue to be fresh and vibrant, carrying K-Pop inspirations, evoking a cozier dining atmosphere. The ambiance of this branch is very homey. Perfect for family dinner and special occasions. I was amazed by the wood cabinet and interiors. I felt the Korean atmosphere upon entering this branch. Of course, I'm excited to try Chef's Noodle signature Korean dishes. Scroll down to see the highlights Chef's Noodle Ayala Fairview Terraces branch store opening and blessing :)

Tokyo Bubble Tea Sakura Season Launch

Sunday, April 19, 2015

The heat is getting insane! I always crave for a refreshing drink these past few days and I always think of milk tea. I'm a milk tea addict that's why when Tokyo Bubble Tea invited me to get the first dibs of their Sakura Season Bento Trays and JCC Milk Teas offering, I said yes immediately :) It's my first time to try Tokyo Bubble Milk Tea and I've heard a  lot of great things about the brand.

I also got curious about the limited 'Sakura Season' menu, I feel like ordering a Sakura Bento Tray and Sakura Jcc Milk Tea will let me experience Japan inside Tokyo Bubble Tea! One of the most beautiful sights in the world is the blooming of cherry blossom trees in Japan when spring comes. It’s such a gorgeous sight that even the Japanese themselves cannot get enough of. For hundreds of years, they have been celebrating Hanami which is when they have picnics under the cherry blossom trees to look at flowers. Once you step inside Tokyo Bubble Tea, you'll feel this one of a kind experience. Click CONTINUE READING to see what's in store for you!

Finally the long wait is over! Yoshinoya Fairview Terraces is now open to serve you with the best beef bowls in town. I was very giddy when Ms. Cha of Travel on a Shoestring Budget invited me to the opening of my fave Japanese restaurant. To tell you honestly, I've only been to three Japanese restaurants in the metro to date and I rate Yoshinoya as the best among the rest because of the delectable taste and price of their dishes. I know most of us love Japanese food and Yoshinoya is the best place to dine if your craving for authentic Japanese cuisine :) I love Japanese food and when I've tried Yoshinoya years ago when they opened their first branch at Sm North Edsa, I frequently dine there after school. For those of you who haven't tried eating at Yoshinoya, here's a little info about them and prepare your eyes for sumptuous Japanese dishes at affordable prices after the jump!      What is the essence of being a woman? This question has been on my mind for a very long time because of the beauty pageants that I often watched during  my high school and college days. It's nice to know that different beauty pageants here in our country became an inspiration to little girls and woman alike to build their self-esteem and intelligence. Beauty pageant title holders also became an inspiration to their nation and uplifts the spirit of every individuals. One of the prestigious pageant that I look forward to watch live on television every year is the Ms. Earth. If you're not familiar with the pageant, here's a little info about it:
The Miss Earth beauty contest is an annual pageant that focuses on environmental awareness. Started in 2001, the green-driven contest is organized by Carousel Productions, through the Miss Earth Foundation. With the theme "International Year of Water Cooperation,'' 90 candidates from around the world will compete in the 2013 Miss Earth beauty contest which will be held at the Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa on December 7, 2013. The proclaimed winner will become the spokesperson and ambassador of the foundation, the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) and other groups promoting care for the environment.

This year's advocacy will focus on eco-tourism as it contributes to the country's effort to use tourism as a means to help alleviate poverty. The Miss Earth pageant will show to the world how beautiful the Philippines is. Teresa Fajksova of the Czech Republic is the reigning Miss Earth. Karla Henry is the first Miss Earth from the Philippines. The first Miss Earth was Catharina Svenson of Denmark.
