     Althea ended the year 2018 with a bang! From makeup to skincare, they launched two new products that will surely entice your senses- Althea Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist and Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser. The first is a collaboration between Titi Kamal and Althea. 

Titi Kamal is an Indonesian actress and singer with a knack for fashion and style. Best identified by her luxuriously long black hair, she's a beauty icon that's captured the hearts of fans all across Southeast Asia.

     K-beauty fans will surely rejoice with this collaboration because if I'm not mistaken, only a handful of Korean brands offer cologne and perfume in the market. I have a collection of Western perfume and cologne brands and none from Asian brands. Althea is a K-Beauty online shopping destination and known to have produced their own line of cost-effective skin care products that why when I saw the pore purifying serum, I said to myself that it will be another keeper.      One of the infamous ingredients when it comes to having soft and smooth skin is milk. I presume that once in your life someone had told you that drinking, applying, or even bathing with milk will give you baby smooth skin. I've also read that milk is one of Cleopatra's secret to having beautiful skin.

     Gone are the days that you have to buy cartons or boxes of milk just to create a skin care mixture containing casein protein. Althea Korea recently introduced the cream milk peel mask that aims to help moisturize skin in just 60 seconds. Enter Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask- a gentle peeling mask containing milk for a refreshed complexion. A self-bubbling clay-like texture that is suitable for combination skin types, enlarge pores, rough, sensitive skin that needs gentle exfoliation and dry skin that needs moisture even after peeling.      Ever since I became more serious in taking care of my skin, I see to it that I apply an ample amount of sunscreen on my face after the wash, tone and moisturize routine. I use sunscreen every day even when I'm indoors because hello, UVA! The fluorescent light at home and blue light coming from a laptop, mobile phone, and other gadgets emit a low level of radiation hence using sun protection products all the time is a must.

     I've tried a few brands of sunscreen before and only two of them became a mainstay in my skincare stash. Looks like a new baby from Althea Korea will join the army. Althea Korea Turns 2 Birthday Haul

     Althea Korea turned 2 last July and it rained blue beauty boxes all over Asia and to countries where Althea Korea ships their products. There were so many surprises in store last July for both K Beauty fans and beauty bloggers who were called Althea Birthday Squad.

     I'm one of the few bloggers who joined the squad in spreading the birthday cheer. I received Althea’s Limited Edition Birthday Cake Box with DIY cake box deco, a birthday card, and gift pack which consisted of my haul. Product Review: Althea Petal Velvet Powder

     It's been ages since the last time I used a translucent powder to set my bb cream. I'm a fan of powder foundation because of extra coverage and finish. Last July, Althea Korea secretly selected bloggers to get the first dibs on their Althea Petal Velvet Powder. This finishing powder was launched early this month and upon reaching our doorstep, I've decided to use it immediately.

     So what is Althea Petal Velvet Powder? According to their website, it is Althea's very own product range and the Petal Velvet Powder is the first from the line. This is a translucent powder that sets makeup and leaves behind a silky finish to the touch. Infused with oil from Althea seeds, this powder works to keep sebum production at bay without drying out the skin for a radiant, fresh look, all while giving out a gentle scent. Product Review: Saemmul Real Tint

     I'm going gaga over lip and cheek tints right now hence rekindling my love to the first kind of blush that I was using when I was in college. Tints are becoming a staple in every girls makeup stash because the 'no makeup' makeup look is trending. The key to this is a natural flush on cheeks, natural brows and bb or cc cushion on face.

     The simplest and easiest way to achieve a natural flush on your cheeks is by using cheek tint. Did you know that there are different formulas of cheek tint available? I've tried a few of them like liquid tint, gel stain, and balm or stick type. My latest discovery is from the Korean brand The Saem. Their Saemmul Real Tint is a lip tint but I'm using it more often as a cheek tint. Intrigued? See my full review below :)

Product Review: W.Lab Clear Finish Gel Liner

     I always find myself in makeup haven every time I visit altheakorea.ph website. When it was launched last year, I did some makeup shopping and bought products that's not available locally. It was a great experience because the products I bought did not fail and made into my makeup must-haves list.

     One of the brands that I swear when it comes to quality and performance is my W.Lab Clear Finish Gel Liner. Despite the hefty price tag, I still find it worth every peso because it's the only eyeliner that lasted more than 10 hours on my not so oily but panda eyelids without smudging and smearing.
