Kuya J Restaurant Eastwood Now Open + A New Look and Menu

Delectable food offerings, value for money, and homey ambiance sum up what I usually look for a decent restaurant. I must admit that Filipino food is the least cuisine that I opt whenever we go out for lunch or dinner because, in my head, I can eat those dishes they offer at home (hello, Pinoy Drunken Chef!), but boy I was wrong when I got to taste for the very first time Kuya J Resto's yummy in my tummy dishes.

Last Friday, I was invited to the opening of its newest restaurant in City Walk Plaza in Eastwood City, Quezon City plus the unveiling of their brand new look and additional food items in their menu.  More about the launch after the jump!

Kuya J Restaurant features a modern and spacious with homey interiors that are perfect for big and small gatherings. The overall design gives the place a whole new feel, making use of earthy color tones to give off a cozy ambiance. Kuya J will also be unveiling a cleaner, more streamlined logo to complement the new look.

Aside from the branch opening and unveiling of their new look, they set-up a carnival theme event place complete with exciting games, live music, and celebrities led by its long-time endorser Jericho Rosales. The opening also showcased exciting games such as pabitin, balloon dart, memory game, customized arcade games, and a slow-mo photo booth where guests took photos for souvenirs.

According to Ton Gatmaitan, marketing director of Kuya J Group, the opening of Kuya J Eastwood marks a truly important milestone for them with the presentation of their new menu offering, the Lechon Baka, a char-grilled beef ribs with tender juicy meat paired with Kamote Fries. I tried the Lechon Baka and I'm highly recommending it- flavorful, fall off the bone meat that melts in your mouth goodness.

Aside from Lechon Baka, I also got other favorites from their menu that is truly Filipino like the Kuya J Grilled Scallops, Lumpia Presko, Bangus ala Pobre, and Fried Chicken among others.
