4 Helpful Tips for Future Trips

Wednesday, May 01, 2019

Planning to tick off one or two of your destination goals this year? I'm sure that you have five or more countries to visit in your travel bucket list. Let's make that countries-to-visit list into reality by planning your trip now. I presume some of you are having a hard time finalizing your trip because there are so many things swirling inside your head.

I've ticked off three countries in my list and planning for the first time is not easy but on my second and third trip, everything went a breeze. Based on my experience, you don't need to be a pro or hire some professional help for this. All you need are these 4 helpful tips for your trips to be hassle-free and one for the books. Read more of the tips after the jump!

1.  Make an Itinerary

The so-called cheat list of all things travel. Preparing an itinerary is the most important thing to do in planning an out of town or out of the country trip. The list will include the activities that you will do from the first day of the trip until the last day. This will include the place you're going to visit, the time you're planning to spend in that place, and the activities you're going to do with your travel buddies.

2. Do some research

After making your itinerary, time to research more about your destination. This is now the what, where, when, and how. Answer these questions like what to do in your chosen destination. Are you going there to try one of the activities or you will just visit it to take your photos? Where is it located? When is the best time to go there or know the opening and closing time. Another important thing to research is the mode of transportation to use. How to get there? You can either ride the train, the bus, car or do the walking.

3. Book in advance

Traveling out of town or out of the country will either be on land, water, or air. Whatever mode of transportation you are going to use, take note that booking your tickets in advance has a lot of advantages. You get cheaper fares or discounted prices especially now that airlines are having seat sales all year round. You may also opt to book an airfare plus accommodation combo to get more discounts. I saw some booking sites that offer the best of both worlds, so go ahead and have patience in looking for the best airfare plus hotel deals online.

4. Purchase Tickets from Traveloka

This year, we are planning to go on a vacation to one of the dream destinations of my son. I'm already working on our itinerary and it's a 5-day tour at Malaysia and Singapore. Can you guess where we are going? I visited Singapore twice already and it will be my first in Malaysia.

Yes, we are going to visit and spend a day or two at Legoland Malaysia. Our trip will also be a birthday celebration for my son. I promised him that we will go to Legoland Malaysia last year after his birthday celebration at Hong Kong Ocean Park. I already made a little research by reading blogs about Legoland Malaysia from families who have experienced the theme park, waterpark, and Legoland Hotel.

4 Helpful Tips for Future Trips

I will be booking our tickets in advance. Since I already booked our flight and hotel, it's time to book our day pass to the theme park and water park. While browsing, I saw great deals at Traveloka. They are offering discounted prices for different activities at Legoland Malaysia. There are 6 passes available as of this writing and those are great deals that I will recommend to everyone who is also planning to visit the awesome park.

I'm so excited to visit Legoland Malaysia this June. I can't wait to use our passes from Traveloka and share my experience with all of you. Hope these simple tips will be helpful to you and your traveling needs. Planning to visit Legoland Malaysia soon? Book your tickets here!
