Product Review: Mischka Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain

     Before I learned how to use blush powders and creams on my cheeks, lip & cheek tints are my best friend. I was in college back then when a Thai brand of makeup sells cheap but effective products and one of them was my favorite cheek tint. I will not name it and I presume that if you're a cheek tint gal, you have tried it too.

     Anyhoo, late last year I decided to rekindle my love for lip & cheek tints when I saw photos of Korean stars on my Facebook feed. Most of them are sporting the no makeup look with only flushed cheeks, bitten lips, and natural looking brows. I want to try that look and good thing Mischka Derma Secrets now rebranded to Mischka Nature Essentials sent me two shades of their Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain. Will this product be a mainstay in my makeup essentials? Find out my thoughts below :)

     For those who haven't tried lip and cheek tints yet, this kind of makeup comes in gel form and gives a natural looking flush on cheeks. It's a dual-purpose makeup because you can use this on your lips and cheeks. I've tried two brands in the past (one Asian and a Western brand) and I'm satisfied with the results. But I lost my interest when my fave Thai brand phased out theirs. Fast-forward today, hooray because I've seen brands offering different colors of tints for all skin tones :)

     I use it after applying moisturizer and bb cream. I usually roll it on my fingers and dab a small amount on my cheeks and blend, blend, blend, Sharing with you a swatch below on my face. This is after applying moisturizer and eyeliner. No bb creams and tinted sunblock underneath.

Pretty Sexy

     The shades I have are Pretty Sexy and Beauty Siren. The first shade looks violet inside the roll on type packaging but once applied it gives a  purplish red shade. On the other hand, the second shade gives a peachy shade after application.

What I like:

• The price- affordable.
• It has a sweet candy like scent.
• It is very pigmented.
• The shade is buildable. 
• A little amount of product is enough to give the right kind of color to the cheeks.
• Easily available.
• Made of natural ingredients.
• Dual purpose.

What I don't like:

• It's a pain to remove.
• There are times that the roll on applicator doesn't function properly.
• Can stain clothes and fingers after application.

Will I repurchase? Maybe. I would like to try other colors. I'm still not sure if the shades I have are already phased out but if you'll visit their website you'll see new shades. I believe they also reformulated this tint and renamed it lip & cheek gel stain.

Recommendation:

     I give this a 4/5 rating. One of the cheapest lip & cheek tint I've tried so far. Kindly visit their website to see more of the shades. They reformulated and renamed this product and I guess it's better :) Check them out now :)
